no idea why. and my friend received the same request. so it can not be single case. instead of arguing against CIC's non-sense, i just submit what they ask for. that's why i suggest 2014 applicants order the option C asap and get prepared. at least our 2014 files are under review now.

received EMAIL communication from CIC asking for missing 2010-2012 option C print out and resubmit deadline is end of March. and saying that it can not be replaced by NOA. (even the latest version of checklist states option c OR NOA.....weird..but typical CIC style). My friend got the same...

we chose beijing but got transferred to hong kong.

super positive news on my side. Hong Kong visa office sent me an email requesting passport... but Mississauga office messed up our police certificate...(my wife is in state; we submitted our FBI PC after sending out the full package) now HK office asked us to contact Mississauga to transfer...

officially received the approval letter today. they transferred my application visa from Beijing to Hong kong. the reason they gave was ‘this visa office was selected based on your relative's home address and the requirements of the immigration and refugee protection act.' strange...

I called CIC just now. they informed my spornership is approved and a letter was mailed out on 17th. cheerrrrs.... and it is so strange that they emailed me refund notification and mailed me the approval letter. what a process....

Sandilee...just FYI..in your refund letter, there could be an application #. you can try to use it on CIC on-line service and match APPLICANT's information to see whether you recived AOR.

just wondering....where did u get ur UCI as an applicant?

got an email from CIC today i thought should be the approval; yet it is a notification of refund my mistaken overpaid application fee..... what a day...
