I think it means your wife’s BG verification is now complete. You should see that reflect in the tracker in the next few days.

It says on the website that in process on ecas means file has been sent to office closest to home. Is background check done by sydney office or my home office?

My Finger prints report was sent to Sydney on April 17. Uptil now LPP and Background still in progress. Should I contact IRCC or Local Office or should I wait for some more time? My test was cleared on May 1st.

Scarborough, Ottawa and Niagara Falls are slower than others unfortunately

Ecas status changed to in process on May 11 and it says they started processing app on May 11 and tracker shows that last update on May 13 but all stages remain the same (I.e., in progress) except Oath and test are not started. Paper application, AoR on March 9

Hey.. that’s good, usually, it takes 5-6 days after ECAS update for the bg to get cleared on the online tracker - my ecas had shown April 12th but the bg got clear on April 18 .. you should see an update early next week
