This is messed up! Once this happens, many applications will get backlogged again, the momentum will be lost and possible that several of the applications get lost in the file folders.

That would really suck but let’s not be so pessimistic. Hopefully it doesn't come to that and things keep moving in an orderly manner.

This sucks so bad. I hope it doesn't screw up badly the fast processing we have been seeing. I'm thinking about submitting urgent processing demand.

The COVID excuse for IRCC backlogs and delays has run its course now the strike of 2023 will be used to blame ongoing failures. Should be good for the next 2-3 more years.

Agreed. They used Covid excuse for so long, now whenever we will call they will use the strike excuse.

Hopefully they reach an agreement soon. I was excited that our processes were moving really fast, but at the same time, in my case, this is not a big deal, as I'm already PR. I feel for those on student or temporary visas.

any update on the tacker or ECASE , comes only in the morning, or during the day time, I have GUI update yesterday April 18 , and April 14 , ECSE in process, but no thing today yet, I was expecting Background check completed, so wonder, would I keep checking during the day, or it is only comes I the morning for you all in the tracker
