I also received an update today, and it's a request letter... the same letter I received last May 4! And there's no longer an upload button available since I already provided the documents before, so I just sent the new ones via web form.
But seriously? Haha, even my extended PGWP had a different address from the original one and was probably sent to Ontario.

This is getting tiring and frustrating, hahaha. Like, how many times can things go wrong? LOL o_O

Hey folks !
My passport got stamped with copr on May 9th but my package has not been picked up by FedEx yet.
I called IrCC they told passport was stamped and couriered.
FedEx told they haven’t received anything from shipper.
Anyone had been in a similar situation?

There are some VOs that request docs a lot more than others. But given that you are within the service levels and unless there are circumstances, nothing should frustrate you. Good thing is that your case officer isn't sleeping on your file :D I'm hoping for someone from Nov AOR to get their portal email this month - it literally feels like this person's file is either with a case officer that hates doing their job or in an inter-departmental conflict.

You should be good my friend. Your portal email is coming soon. :)

I was able to get hold of an agent this morning. She can't find the documents I uploaded previously, so probably that's the reason they sent another request. Told her I couldn't upload it to my GCKey account, so she said they couldn't do anything but wait for it to arrive on their end, and there was no other way to upload the documents other than through the GCKey or web form (which I also sent as a backup). She told me that it usually takes months for them to process a web form (probably longer than the app itself, haha.)

She also sent a report to the primary office about the mistake in my PGWP and also the things that I raised about my application. There's nothing I can do but wait, although she was kind enough to let them know that I have no fault in all of this.

But it's good that I called; otherwise, they may not even notice it or may have to wait another few months.

Just sharing. Maybe someone is in the same boat as me. haha

Yeah, I just try to forget about it most of the time, haha. For sure it's just a technical error on their end, but why should I be the lucky one to have that? :D

Maybe it's just because I also want to go back home for a vacation, and I'm pretty stuck here since a lot of people are advising me not to make any trips outside Canada while waiting for my app, just in case. :(

To be truthful, I'm on more or less of a similar boat as you do. I've a stamped passport, I've a banger Canadian job (as an outlander), I'm pre-approved and know where I want to buy a house with exact neighbourhood (as an outlander!) - but I still can't move to Canada yet (personal reasons).

I am someone who overplans everything. My luck is extremely bad right now tbh. I've an executive job offer at a company I'd love to work with too. Since, I can't move I'm deferring that position and staying at my current Canadian job.

Sometimes things just don't go right - no matter how much you try. I guess that's the way life really is. Good and bad experiences make the real flavor of life I guess. My "be patient" advice is a bit of a slap, but as someone going through it too, I can assure you the best thing is to not to tire yourself out.

I was reading some old threads over the weekend and there was a mention of this thing called "immigration fatigue". Overworking yourself on some of these things can push you to "immigration fatigue" as well (if aren't already feeling it! :D ).

Otoh, you can go to your home country for a vacation. If your status is good, you shouldn't have any issues travelling. If you get portal even in your home country, you can:
1. come back and virtually land yourself.
2. virtually land and apply for a PRTD
3. let IRCC know that you are outside of Canada and finish the process as an outlander (not sure I'm 100% right with #3)

Yeah, to be honest. It seems like I will have PTSD after all of this application stuff is done. Haha, it's not fun deferring all other plans in your life for the sake of the most major one.
But yeah, you're right that we just need to be patient, and there are a lot of people as well whose situation is so much worst than I am. I had a friend here in Canada who got his PR application approved after a year of waiting, but in the end, it got approved, but it also almost led him to break up with his girlfriend due to stress haha.

I also have another job offer, but I just want to stay in my current company since they signed my PNP, and I just want things to remain as is while my PR is still being processed. However, I do intend to stay in BC for quite a while, and I love it here.

Yeah, I am actually considering having a vacation, but seeing that maybe I am almost there in the process, I might just need to wait longer. And I also don't have a stamp on my passport (my last one was a student visa), and I don't want to complicate or process another application just to get out. haha

Anyways, we'll get through this. This might get things more worth it in the end. :)

i contacted IRCC and was told my RFV was sent since march 9,2023. I did not receive such either in my inbox, spam or GC key. Though i have requested for them to resend. Anyone experienced such, and will i likely get the mail soon?

There were couple cases like yours. There's one in march AOR thread too. What did the agent say about resending RFV? For the march AOR who didn't got their "allegedly sent" portal email, got it within a few days iirc.

Here's the March AOR that was in a similar situation as you do: https://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/threads/march-2023-aor.789909/post-10445566 and got their portal very shortly after letting IRCC know that they haven't received it.

Thanks for the response. The correspondence was via email since it has been difficult for me to call as FSW-O. I haven't seen a response to my last request, all correspondences happened today anyway. Any idea if there's another step i can take to speed it up

Use one of those apps (or Skype, if it still works) and call IRCC to let them know that you never received RFV email.

Guys, I am in Canada but my family is outside and it has been more than 6-months since they went. Should I upload PCC for my wife NOW? Or wait their back and then upload? They are coming next month.
