Welcome HolgerDanske! Good luck with your application! :)
It looks like I'm the only one who didn't do their medical beforehand.. makes me a bit nervous! My husband is getting them done in March when he comes to visit, and we're sending them out along with the police check and additional documents on our relationship - can't hurt, right?

Thank you for adding me to the spreadsheet. Nice to see others in the same boat as me. I was hoping I'd be one of those folks who got word of their AOR like after a week... but nothing yet.

Wishing everyone a speedy process!

Did you send your application yet? If you sent without police check and relationship information, they will send you back your application for lack of documents. As for the medical, I think its ok if you don't do it upfront but you expose yourself to delays.

You're applying OUTLAND right?

I am applying outland, my husband lives in the US. I have sent it in, without the police check and medical for him. I heard it was okay to do that, because the first part of the application is just to ensure I can sponsor. I did include a paper saying we will send in both forms when requested (although we will send them in earlier) so they do not expire before our application is processed. My husband is coming to visit me in March and we will send them in then. He is doing his fingerprinting now and his medical up here in Toronto in March.
I hope I didn't screw this up.

You did not, worst case scenario is that it will delay your application a bit, but if you send them in before they request them you're fine

Phew. You have no idea how stressed out I am about this! I think I am going to drive my husband crazy, haha. I assume they won't request it by March, unless they're flying through applications!

I am just curious, is your husband a US citizen or a PR of USA? It must be nice that he can come visit you in March.
I guess you can submit the medicals and PCC later with a cover letter including the UCI number or application number. Hopefully it wont get misplaced but Ottawa seems to be far more organized than some visa offices. Good luck with yor processing :D

He is a US citizen :) It is very nice! We are trying to see each other once every 2 months - I just saw him at the beginning of January for a week. And yes - we will send them to Ottawa and hope they don't get lost. Do you know when we get the UCI number? Is that when we get the AOR from CPC-M?

Looks like I was wrong. Sorry if I added a little bit of stress on you. :)
