Congrats Profiler! I just noticed your signature has been updated. ;)

Hey Thanks! Haven't seen you round these parts much!

13.5 Mos or so. DM letter came a week after the landing office invite (which was an hour after ECAS reported DM). Cinco de Mayo... no interview, call, letter, nothing.

So, all well :)

CIC (IRCC), CBSA, RCMP are all run by the same Ministry: Public Safety. They all have access to each other.

this is good news...since I CBSA held unto my hometown PCC when it was being mailed to me and they and never released it to me.

Then in your case, a CSE: "CBSA has my PCC... go get it from them" (phrased nicer). And done :).

oh the webform that's; what you mean. They've had it for over a year.. do you think it makes sense to even mention it now? I've called the center a few times and mentioned it. I was never asked.. or told I was missing any documents. I may have mentioned it to them before that I didn't receive my PCC.. its been so long cant remember

You can call to ask... if they tell you they have everything they need from you, then just wait..

Thank you for your reply GG_wife, I'm hoping we don't have to wait the 120 days for them to sort everything out (my husband has no criminal record in Canada or from home so it's even more frustrating). For the request number, where do you find that?

Thanks again and all the best on your landing interview!

if there is no criminal record, then you don't have to wait for 120 days:) The receipt I got had a GST number I used it as a reference when calling RCMP, then they asked for my email address and sent a confirmation that they have passed the results to CIC. I uploaded that via the case specific inquiry link.
I have landed on March 21st, actually not long after the fingerprints were done, so it should come for you too soon!:)

Could someone please send me the link of the online file 'Immigration Acronyms and GCMS Notes' which contains the questions in relationship interview.

I got a lot private conversations asking about the interview. :-X I'd like to replay them with the file address.

Thanks.

I understand how difficult this process is, I am sorry for your loss -- hang in there. You are almost at the finish line. What was the last communication your received from CIC? If you apply for a work permit now you will remain with implied status and can continue to work. Why are you on EI if you are working? Apply for your work permit renewal right away, that is my suggestion. Do not wait until it expires!

So I just heard from MP office today and seems like they completely wipe their hands off and say we cannot do anything in this matter.

That's a shame... I hope he doesn't count on the vote of your sponsor... is there an MP from a different political party near were you live? No guarantee, but if you go there saying your MP wasn't helping, they might be willing to help you.

That being said, your application should be processed anytime soon (you're a Dec 2015 applicant if I'm not wrong). I know you went through a lot, but hang on there, it's coming!

Yes, I found that's really not fair. They requested me to obtain a letter from the doctor for my father situation and it was hard for me to communicate with doctor as the family doctor is not that tech savvy and finally I was able to arrange the doctor letter after lots of overseas calls and stress. After two weeks as I never heard back from MP office I contacted today left message to get an update and then they call me to inform that I have to wait with CiC as it's a process with CiC and they cannot do anything and I should wait. I understand the process and just want to see my father I am still see my mom in dreams almost every night and wake up in tears couldn't come out of the trauma of her loss and I don't know what is so important in life is it family or is it to get settle in this country. Sometime I feel I will still be incomplete emotionally no matter how successful I will be in future.

Before I came to Canada I left my country in expectation of a better life, organised system, people with honesty, heart and compassionate care. After 5 Years seems like all those expectations are getting blurry. I am person with positive attitude and always believe struggle comes with lessons of life and this is one of the biggest journey and struggle I am waiting to conquer and overcome as a winner. I hope and wish that I can get my status soon and able to see my dad.
