Yes, I found that's really not fair. They requested me to obtain a letter from the doctor for my father situation and it was hard for me to communicate with doctor as the family doctor is not that tech savvy and finally I was able to arrange the doctor letter after lots of overseas calls and stress. After two weeks as I never heard back from MP office I contacted today left message to get an update and then they call me to inform that I have to wait with CiC as it's a process with CiC and they cannot do anything and I should wait. I understand the process and just want to see my father I am still see my mom in dreams almost every night and wake up in tears couldn't come out of the trauma of her loss and I don't know what is so important in life is it family or is it to get settle in this country. Sometime I feel I will still be incomplete emotionally no matter how successful I will be in future.

Before I came to Canada I left my country in expectation of a better life, organised system, people with honesty, heart and compassionate care. After 5 Years seems like all those expectations are getting blurry. I am person with positive attitude and always believe struggle comes with lessons of life and this is one of the biggest journey and struggle I am waiting to conquer and overcome as a winner. I hope and wish that I can get my status soon and able to see my dad.

So I just got my DM letter last night and my landing office is in Etobicoke. How long until they send you for the landing date in your application, people? I'm asking this because currently my email is under maintenance and I can't receive any mail.

Hard to say. Some got it in 5 days.. and others in 5 weeks. The Etobicoke office is by far one of the busiest too. Wen did you apply?

we did our landing interview on Friday April 28 2017 at etobicoke and in my husband case he was lucky because his passport expires in may 21 2017 we got dm on April 21,2017 and they called our rep she forwarded us the landING interview letter on April 21 2017 in our case we got landing interview on Friday April 28 2017 . we got lucky we got it in a day I hear people can wait weeks congratulations

You'll be fine! And yes through your account. You would most likely get an email and depending on the urgency they sometimes call. Congratulations though! You're long overdue. Did you miss some documents or had to resend?

I did and it was my police. They asked it when I got my AIP back in November and it took me months to get them, thanks to my embassy and my government. I sent them about two months ago and I didn't know what they did to it. When they changed the status into DM, they put a note about it and asked me to send it IF I haven't. Then three days after I got my DM letter. And now I'm waiting for the landing. Looks like they're in a little bit of a rush

Yes that's so unfortunate. About the police certificate that is. At least you're in the last leg. Shouldn't be too long now before its all over with.

So if I happen to be called for a landing interview within these days, will I be given a conditional PR or PR without conditions? Should I inform CIC about pregnancy?

First of all, congratulations both on the DM and the baby to come!! The conditional PR has been removed recently, so you won't have the condition whether you land before or after the birth of the baby. In which office will you land? If you are not landing in Etobicoke or Montreal, you will land much before the baby's arrival!

Carol landed quite rapidly in Etobicoke, but most of people seem to be landing in 6-7 weeks for Etobicoke.
