Yes, of course. I didn't pay enough money in my original application and it made me nervous. (see my mistakes) To play safe, I sent out the 2nd OWP application.
In my original application, I had paid $1,040 (Sponsor $75, Principal applicant $475, Right of permanent residency fee $490) online for PR and $100 for OWP.
Then I found out that I need to pay two fees for OWP:
Work Permit (including extensions) - $155.00
Open Work Permit Holder fee - $100.00
I wish I knew all the details back then. I am still wondering if the prepaid Right of permanent residency fee will cover the $155 short, but no one can tell me what the official will actually do in my case. The CIC website states that there is no specific service attached to the receipts we sent within our application. So better pay more and wait for refund in all cases.
