I discovered this forum and the fact that I can apply outland AFTER I've submitted my inland application...
Spouse-common law inland application app. The package was delivered on September 30th 2015 according to Canada Post tracking.
After reading all the info I am bit concerned about travelling outside while my application is in process.
Some info:
Chinese citizen. In Vancouver Canada since 2008 (age of 17 back then), did a bachelor in Canada and currently enrolled at UBC for a MSc degree. Have a Study Permit valid till Aug 2016.
Met my spouse in 2011, been co-habiting since mid-2012...
CLB10+ (IELTS 8.5)
Did not apply for a OWP because I thought I can just get the 3-year Post-grad work permit after my program at UBC.
I am planning to travel to Australia for a short vacation (10days) with my parents (not with my canadian spouse), could someone tell me what's the risk of being refused for re-entry when I come back? Thank you.
