I received a letter from my MP congratulating me on my citizenship. Is that the norm? When I saw the envelope I thought it was my passport... Hopefully soon! Anyway, the letter is a nice touch and came in a nicer binder than the official citizenship certificate!

I had my in person appointment today for my passport application. My spouse was listed as my guarantor and the agent went over my application and had no issues with that. Your spouse cannot be a reference, perhaps people get mixed up. I used two friends for my references.
