Couple of basic (stupid?) questions:
1 - Can one's Canadian spouse be the guarantor? Research says yes, don't know why so many on the forum have said otherwise.
2 - Addresses is the last 2 years: I have my current address (1.5 yrs) and one other before that. In the "To Date" field for the current address, do I just mention the month I'm signing the form?
3 - Is it okay if everything is typed except for the citizenship certificate number which is handwritten?
4 - Photographer stamped and dated both photos. I'm assuming it won't be an issue. The guarantor will certify and sign only one.

I had my in person appointment today for my passport application.
My spouse was listed as my guarantor and the agent went over my application and had no issues with that.

Your spouse cannot be a reference, perhaps people get mixed up. I used two friends for my references.

2. I put the date I signed it. However, the agent made me write "present" text to it in black ink.

3. Yes. Some of my form was typed but there was a bit I left out by mistake that the agent had me fill in black pen. He told me it would be fine.

4. My photographer stamped one but I don't see it being an issue.
