How long after receiving AOR can you log into E-CAS?

each time I try it displays the "We were not able to identify you using the information you provided. There could be three possible reasons:" page..

I have tried using my UCI number and Application number and its been around 1 week already..

Same thing with me.. Neither I can verify the status online using UCI or App No.

I got confused a few times... to start with you log in using the sponsor's details... once you have SA then you log in using the principal applicants details. This is the only advice I have so hopefully that works.

my sponsor and I could both log in using our own UCIs. I never tried with the application number.

I CANNOT believe that the first step in PR (inland) has gone up to 12 months!
How does that work for those of that applied at the beginning of the year?
Do our applications now fall under this 12 month wait? Or the previously noted number (11 months - not a huge difference, but if it is going to go up each month, then..)

Frankly - don't understand how they can say it is 11 or 12 months if they have been working on July 2013 applications for over 5 months.

What is going on?

I know everyone is in the same boat... just venting...

Trust me, We are all just as annoyed as you and its so frustrating as peoples lives and relationships are all being put on hold if not being pushed at breaking point while we wait.

We really don't know what's going on but I can just imagine only 4 people in 1 small boxed room going through 1 application at a time, its crazy..

The AOR that my sponsor received had a UCI number which is the sponsor's UCI. he did not have a UCI before.

Ah, I see. My sponsor didn't get AOR, I did. And a file number. Can't seem to bring up my info on the E-cas using that, although my AOR says I should be able to. I called the CIC today and gave up after being on hold for nearly 2 hours. :'(

Same here. The email to me only gave me an "Application" number but no UCI. My sponsor didn't get AOR.

They don't have a UCI. They have a citizenship number.

How does a sponsor, who is a Canadian citizen, born and raised, find out his UCI?

Actually citizens also get a UCI as well. I ended up getting an UCI when I gotten the AOR email. They are not citizenship numbers.

Does anybody travel abroad while waiting for PR or plan to do it? If yes - how high are risks ? And did you meet problems because of this or heard about problems of coming back from other people?

Well, if the APPLICANT gets the AOR instead of the Canadian sponsor, how in the world do we find out the sponsor's UCI?

I am agree with you, UCI for Canadian sponsor is impossible!!!!????

The sponsor gets the AOR, not the applicant. So the UCI gets assigned to the sponsor.
