It is advised to wait till you get an AOR, so you can send your docs with an application number. I heard different things about submitting more supporting documents during the process, some people think it can delay your process.
I think that if you have a good case, you don't need to submit more pictures, and if you have a real red flag, than a couple more pictures won't save you from an interview.

Thanks for reply but not just pics but other evidence as well... like friends and family letters etc

Today, I had an interview with CBSA officer and he told me that all inland files eventually go to alberta. They give mississauga address but internally they go to alberta. Thats mean nothing is happening in mississauga

hiring foreign live in caregiver

Hi, im a Canadian citizen and i apply my mom under the supervisa and just recently she received her visa. She is 71 yrs old, the reason why i ask her to come is because she was alone in her house and was not safe for her. my problem now is that, i work double shift and most of the time im not home. my mom she needs some assistance n her daily routine specially reminding her about eating on time and medication. am i allowed to hire a foreign live-in caregiver to look after her as im planning to let her stay longer? my gross income s 58k a year, and its only me and my mom at home. i know that my mom is not a permanent resident but she's under a supervisa program. please help me !!!

Would that mean. Our applications are still lying...!... Wish something happens soon!.

So, the CBSA officer told you the exact opposite of what CIC has been telling everyone?

we know they have opened march applications because someone had an application returned that was submitted something like March 6th that was a few weeks ago now I think.

Sent it in around early Jan. 2014, it came back in late Feb. Sent it out again and was received in Miss. on March 6th then came back again July 11th. The first time it came back b/c we supposedly forgot a forum even tho we diligently followed the check list plus had to pay a new fee for OWP and another fee for extending his visitor status. Next time they said we needed to include updated IMM 0008 plus 5406 and 5669 for PR and dependants. When we checked the IMM 0008 there was a section missing off of our copy. My pdf reader must have cut it off for some reason. We are just about ready to send it back out again.

Yes, I exactly asked him same thing that they give us Missisauga address and they say inland applications will be processed in Mississauga but he cut off the topic and said its internal matter. he had to told me as my file didn't reach alberta yet. that was teh reason he said... but yeah CIC lying to everyone if this is the case

Hi everybody! I'm new here. Me and my husband just started to collect docs for sponsorship visa. Does anybody know how can I get police certificate being in Canada right now? Should I ask somebody from my homeland to get it there on behalf of me and then mail it to me?
I'll appreciate any kind of help

Why would they do that? I don't mean that there is always logic in what CIC does, but seriously, why would they ask you to send everything to Mississauga, then transfer it internally?

just wanna share my story.. its kinda complicate
i applied the family sponsorship inland on Jan, 2013
and they got my application and start working on it on Feb 17th, 2013
and then i got my aip and dm at the same time on dec 21, 2013
and at that time that email says my case has been transfer to scarbrough office so they will contact me blah blah
and i got the landing interview letter on Jan 6th 2014 which i didnt expect that fast and they got me landing interview on feb 2th 2014, however me and my wife wasnt in the country so we asked our lawyer to reschudle the time for me.
and then things happen... we back to canada on feb 10th something 2013, and then were waiting for the second letter for the landing interview. and until march 1st 2013 i still didnt recieve any letter from cic but an email saying that i failed to show up the second interview which they set on feb 25th.. 2013. so my case has been closed. however i never got any letter from them since the first one then. so i wrote a letter to complain but got no reply.
i was so sad at that moment but still they ask me to reapply again. so i did all those steps again ( body check and pay for the fee etc) on this may 10th 2014
and what surprise me is i got the dm letter again this week which saying that my case completed the office in etocbicoke will contact me this time. again!! but no aip letter lol guess because they sent me already on last year dec 27th.so i called the cic call center and ask how would that happen thats the way so fast cuz i was expecting wait for another year lol.. and they told me they didnt start a new application for me actualy just reopen it. so yea.. my question is, do you guys know how long it would usually take until the etobicoke office contact me for the landing interview? thanks

It depends where are you from, I was able to get one with mailing things back and forth with my mother.

I dont know about the logic,,, this is what officer told me,,, he checked and told me that ur file didnt reach to alberta yet and then i explained to him that i m suppose to send my file in mississauga not alberta.. then he said its internal all files go to alberta from mississauga... i cant say what is true but this is what he said... God knows better... :

i have couple of questions about filling up the visitor application IMM5708. i am sponsoring my wife (in land) and her study permit is gonna expire soon though we included OWP along with sponsorship application. THE IMPRESSION I GOT SO FAR IS BETTER TO HAVE LEGAL STATUS WHILE SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION IS IN PROCESS.
