I think the applications that are sent to Mississauga are for family members living abroad (without the sponsor living in Canada)

Look here: http://iica-cdii.ca/english/CIC-Offices.php

And this website explains a little about the differences between CPC-Vegreville and CPC-Mississauga as well: http://immlawyer.blogs.com/my_weblog/2013/09/

Yea, but the address in imm 5443 actually has been updated and changed to Mississauga.. All the inland applicants are gonna be really confused from now on...:-s

Thank you for volunteering to make the spreadsheet, Sophie!

We filed our apps only a week apart.. :-)

Let's hope we get our AOR soon!

From December, 2013, it took an average 38 days them to send the AOR... But yeah, let's hope they will be faster in January!:)

I could be wrong.. But I'm still highly convinced that all inland application included with an OWP are sent to CPC-V!

Oh, gosh. I hope it's clear where to send the app once I am ready to send it at the end of the month... weird. Just another thing to stress over! AH! :o

I would call them and ask so you know for sure. There's nothing worse than having doubts sending off an application.. They will be able to tell you exactly whether they changed it or not hopefully :)

Thanks Sophieee for creating and managing the spreadsheet...... If you like you can add this additional information for me:

Country of Origin - Trinidad and Tobago
City of Residence - Toronto

You are the best!!

And I haven't seen it before I sent my app on Friday... But I hope they will still accept the applications for a while...
The work permits are still expected in Vegreville, hope it won't change.

By the way, at what number can you reach CIC? I tried a few, but they never answerd.

Hi, Sophieee!

Thank you so much for doing our spreadsheet. Once I send in my app, I'll give you my info! You're awesome!

As for calling the CIC, I call 1-888-242‑2100 and then I immediately press 1 a couple times when the menu starts talking, and then I press 0. It very rarely ever disconnects me when I do that. I hate getting through the menu and then having the "operator" tell me that they can't connect me. Try my method and see if it works!

Thanks for the tip, I will try that way!

I was reading a lot the 2013 topic and I will definitely send an OWP as soon as I get a UCI number with my AOR. But I'm a little confused about my temporary resident permit, hope you can help me. In "Applying to Change Conditions or Extend Your Stay in Canada" I can apply both the work permit and the TR permit, but this way the TRP would costs $200.00. Since I have a TRP right now, I think I'm eligible "Applying to remain in Canada as a temporary resident permit holder", which is a different application, and it costs $75.00.
So, I wouldn't like to pay an extra $125.00 if I don't have to, but I don't know if it's working that I send the two different application, or send just the first and pay the lowest price. Any advise?
