Congratulations once again!! You got your DM on feb 12th and I got mine on Feb 10th for Etobicoke as well but I haven't even got my landing letter yet whereas you've already landed. Would you mind telling when did you receive your landing letter and was it sent by email or snail mail?

That's a waste. I have tried calling them but you know how they never answer you in appropriate manner. They goes how I should wait for two months for Etobicoke office to get back to me. What a joke. Stupid cunts sitting their making decent amount of money doing jack****.

what is this information concerning the expiry date of your health care ? my health care card has also an expiry date , does this mean on my landng date I can make a change to that?

Yes you can! We went from landing appointment to Service Canada to update SINs and then to a licensing office to update the healthcare. They will need to see the paperwork you received from your landing appointment, but otherwise you're good to go!

the good news was in the snail mailbox today!!!

the official DM letter confirming what I already knew from my ecas since last week, letter dated Feb 13 and post stamp Feb 19

and also the letter to inform that my landing interview is scheduled for Friday March 13
I thought it would be in Vancouver,but they send me to a closer office in Kelowna.

I am so super excited right now! Things are coming back to normal and I am sure I will find a job very soon.

I wish everybody a good start like mine into this new week.

Nothing yet for me...my lawyer says he spoke to someone and he expects us to hear something by March 12th. I'm guessing thats just because it will have then been a month. We'll see.

Hey gang just had my landing at Vancouver office was about half hour early for our 11am appointment it didn't matter there was only 2 people in the waiting room. Waited for about 5-10mins then the officer call us up to the window & we just stood at the window while he asked me the 3 questions & singed some papers. Was super informal & relaxed didn't even ask for my partners ID. The landing officer was the Dutch guy with the crazy moustache beard combo with the John Lennon pen he was cracking jokes the whole time was a good experience. So 19 months to the day Cic received my app we are done. Thanks for all the help & support from everyone in this forum all the best with your apps.
Now time to get on with my life. Will still be checking in on this thread see how 2013 apps are doing.

Yes of course. i received it the same day, i received first DM email at 9 am on feb 12th, then in the afternoon i received an email with my interview date.
ALl i can say - that there is no CONSISTENCY with CIC, seeing their whole system went down on my landing date explained many things to me. maybe call them in a week if you do not hear. luckily i did not have to wait and guess, but i see a lot of people wait for their landing interview mail from 1-4 weeks. thats CIC. but you are almost done. yay!!! good luck , it is almost over. landing interview is mostly formality.

It will be one of the best day of your life when they will hand you your CORP. it feels like winning a lottery good luck on the interview, make sure you take everything they ask ( passport, receipts of all their fees, pictures, iDs with the same address, check up ur first and last entry to Canada). we spent about 10 minutes in total talking to officer, the rest of the time is waiting, take a cool book just in case

congrats Olgabizz, i completely understand your state of mind, I am looking forward to my landing interview in about 2 weeks, immigration from inland is a huge cage and we are many who are captured in it. I wish for all my waiting buddies a quick relieve and lucky ending of this painful process

Did the dependent get the visa same time when you landed?
Please share your experiences, would love to hear.
I applied inland and my daughter living in my home country.

This is pretty understandable. Their entire system runs on a few Lite Brite's.
