SDG, that's my police clearance from my home country and you cannot get canadian police certificate if you don't have that. First, there December has so much holidays and February 8 a sh9es month. And it takes a while to get every document they asked. Plus March 1 is Sunday. What the heck

I'm very worried now and scared. I have no peace of mind right now.If I had all the documents I could have been done everything but it takes forever. I'm feeling very sad

If I were you, I would send all the other documents first and include a letter explaining that you are still waiting for finger prints and will provide to them as soon as you get it.

Did you not send your police clearance in with your original application?

Johny, that's exactly what I'm thinking. AND I think I'm gonna mail all the documents I have with the explanation and I will just send the rest as soon as I will get them.

What is the number of the helpline? Have you tried calling them before?

Definitely you have to call and ask cc agent to put a note on your file about this situation , call many times until you catch a good agent that is willing to help you on that ( most agents will say that that is not part of their guidelines .. Bla bla and will be lazy to do that ) , then call again on Thursday just to make sure that the note was put on the system properly , good luck .

Here is my technic to get to agent fast : dial 18882422100 , wait 20 secs or less then press 1 , wait 2 secs and then press 2 , wait 1 sec and then press 0 , good luck again

As long as it was valid when it arrived at their offices, and you have not left Canada, they usually don't require another. I would comply by sending in the documents that you do have and also requesting an extension for the police record and advise them you will send it as soon as received. Include a copy of the letter you sent for the PCC and the payment receipt as proof that were you attempting to comply in their requested time frame.

Are you going to file taxes with your new SIN or the temporary one?

I haven't got the permanent one yet, so I'm thinking about filing my taxes with the temporary one anyway. I was wondering if there're any disadvantages in doing that.

I'll be using my new one. I called CRA yesterday and was told it would take a few days to get into the system, but I should be able to use it just fine.

September 16, 2013 applicant here. I received first stage approval yesterday and then an email today saying that the processing of my application has been completed!!!!!!!!! I have been silently following this forum like many others, and I just wanted to do my part and also say thank you to everyone who post something here.

September 17 2013 applicant here, pretty sure we got a DM this morning as well, just waiting for the landing interview.

Thanks for this Tilikun, I've been trying to figure out a technique to spam my way through to a person and this looks exactly like what I was looking for.
