Hola inlanders!

So as the sponsor, i logged into ecas to view the statuts of our application this morning and the system could no longer identify me! As i check every day (yes i'm that neurotic), i thought something was terribly wrong! After several tries i thought it was maybe a local problem but my spouse could not log in either (with my credentials). I prompty called CIC and they transferred me to the technical dept who checked my profil to finally say to me:

"Your account has been closed because your sponsorship has been approved" :o

I was both got very happy and very mad at the same moment! Closing my account is an extrodinarily worrysome event! How could i know!

So its now just a question of time for snail mail does its job! Very happy but still feel like sending CIC a bag of flamming poo! So frustrating! Please excuse my imagery...

We just got our SA and AIP a few days ago and I cannot access my (sponsor's) ecas, but my husband's is still up, although it does not appear up to date is it just says that they received his application, not that it's started processing even though he received AIP.

They are so inconsistent!! We apparently DON'T have AIP, just SA, and my husband's Stage 2 eCAS says In Process as of the 17th......

AchankengCrawford: that's exactly what i'm seeing. I'll be sure to post more updates as soon as things happen. No letters yet (AIP or OWP).

I got my AIP on Feb 5, 2014, still wait for DM. I am June 2013 applicant. Don't know how to complain, 10 months of waiting for the 2nd stage :(

I got AIP on Feb 17 2014, We are also still waiting for DM. On oct 17 it was 8 months so I waited till start of Nov to call CIC spoke to a nice man at the call centre said everything looks good no need to send us anything else you should hear something by the end of Nov which is tomorrow (well last business day of Nov).

So I know these call agents don't really know whats going on so I called back a week or two later so the next lady I spoke with who was also nice over the phone said that there has been no movement on my file for a long time. I couldn't believe was she was telling me nearly 10 months & nothing & we sent everything meds, police checks & fee's. She was nice enough to tell me she was sending a msg to CPC-M to see whats going on.

Yesterday I called CIC again ( I am calling them every week now till I get DM I'm sick of waiting I want to get on with my life & not checking my email every hour ) spoke with another nice lady she looked into my file said she saw the msg the 2nd call centre agent sent to CPC-M a week ago but no one has looked at the msg yet she said it can take up to 3 months for CPC-M to even look at the msg.

Is there a new bill being passed as of Jan 1st 2015 ? Is it something to do with citizenship maybe time spent as a P.R not counting towards citizenship ? Why are they not letting anyone land ? No AIP+DM have been giving out from CPC-M just AIP's

Also congrats to July & Aug apps receiving AIP can't believe it's taking nearly 10months to get through the months July & Aug 2013! Just hoping we all hear good news before the Xmas/new year break cause we all know how much CIC love not to work

I guess the quota for Inland spouses will be reset in Jan 2015 thats when many will get landing calls. Sadly this government imposes annual quota for sponsored spouses so this is not a new thing.

If the CIC is still continuing to act like that, all immigrants will come to Canada to get only a Canadian passport and then they will move to somehwere else since the whole government would work the same way in Canada. I don't want to call to them because I know that there is no sens to do it. They would do a right job if they want all immigrants come to Canada seriously to work and live here...

I don't know where you are getting this "annual quota" for inland spouse. Could you please provide links, or evidence of this?

There are caps like the parent PR sponsorship at 5000 and caps for IEC and working holidays. But never heard of any caps or quotas for spousal PR inland or outland.

Otherwise please stop posting stuff that isn't there or true.

I saw some reports with very similar quotas like the previous years so unless there were much more applicant, it can't be the reason.

But what screech is saying is they dont have quotas or a capped number of applications processed for a year. They process the applications as they get them. Unfortunately they're taking they're sweet time with the applications this time around.

I think eCAS is having an issue right now. There is currently a thread on that....

You don't know doesn't mean it's not there or true. And I am not obligated to provide evidence to you. You can do your own research and find responses from Minister Alexander on the quota issue if you wish. As I said before, I don't want to have any personal conversation with you. You do not need to care what I say and I don't give a s*** of what you say. Out of my way please. :)

P.S: Read the comment carefully before acting like a police. There is no cap for number of applications but there is annual cap for processing and landing for each category. Go find it yourself.

Okay, they are not exact quotas but "Plan Admission Ranges". But my point is that it's basically the same as the previous years, and it happened before that more permanent resident were admitted than the high range of the plan.
So even if civic was thinking about these ranges, the problem is not with CIC plan's or willingness of admit more permanent residents, but with something else.

Hi guys, is there any other applicants here for August 23,2013? I'm still not getting any email yet. I kinda sad and worried. I just want to know if I'm alone on the said date or there is someone else in the forum?
