It is finally my turn to bring the good news! I am extremely happy to say that I received my AIP today!!! The letter says that my work permit is on its way.

Unfortunately I did not get the decision made because my application is missing one of the three police certificates requested for applicants from my country.

For anyone who sent new copies of passports in via email to Mississauga,

Do we have to send a copy to vegreville as well as I remember something about they being the ones who process work permits?
If so does anyone have the email address to use or is mailing it in better? Does anyone have the physical address then?

You would think that having a cic account would make it so easy for people to upload and attach documents to an application and save to their accounts where they can be viewed easily by the officers, rather than me emailing and mailing documents off. Much more organized, no lost documents etc

I just ran into this issue. Sent updated passport info to Mississauga via email and regular mail. They don't seem to pass this on the Vegreville, which we were told could result in refusal of the Work Permit!

I just mailed my hubbys updated passport info to Vegreville yesterday. I have the address the CIC rep gave me at home. I believe it was like 6512 - 55th ave or something like that. I will confirm this evening when I get home (in about 2 hours).

The call center agent did not tell me to put Unit 555....

Doesn't it say online the unit 555 is just for work permits for which you already have an employer?
