Yup, that is what our letter says :).

Also wanted to put another question out there regarding PCCs.

My husband is going to get his fingerprinting done for the PCC now. He lived in two other countries for over 6 months so he needs to get the PCC for those countries but as an inlander applicant, does he also need to get a PCC from RCMP to send along as well? Also does anyone know of any cheap, reliable fingerprinting shops in Mississauga? Some of them are obnoxiously priced.

Hey, thanks dear.

I dnt think that he needs to do finger printing for Canada......but, I would request senior members to confirm this.

I am nt sure where u can this done, cz I never had to get it done.

Thanks

Ummm I believe RCMP does fingerprinting for free. Dont' get it done by another shop. Make sure the RCMP office has electronic fingerprinting it will be processed much faster than ink.

Why is your husband getting his fingerprinting done? Was this requested by CIC??

Oh, really? That's good to know but can we send these fingerprints for pcc's that need to be done internationally? We applied in July 2013 so we're expecting to hear from CIC soon (hopefully!) and since he has to get pcc's from two other countries and they also take their sweet time processing we decided to file our paperwork now. Its better to have these documents in hand in case we get the letter in the mail that they need pcc, etc.

I don't know about that but you can just call RCMP and ask them.

Read the guide again for the inland application I believe in there it has a fingerprint request letter that you can show to the RCMP for PCC outside Canada

If he needs an FBI PCC (from the U.S.) you need to send a set of the old fashioned ` Ink and Roll' prints on the FD-258 fingerprint card. They will not accept scanned prints that were printed on the card, since it's a digital image and could have been manipulated.

Q: As an Ontario inland applicant without AIP, what are my options for health care in Canada (private, etc)? Does anyone have any experience in Ontario?

Bumping this. Anyone have any suggestions?

God be with us I have a quick question when you say your owp was granted with AIP did your letter say you will get owp soon or have you received the actual owp document, I can't wait to help my sponsor with expenses I'm happy for you

Hey, my AIP letter says that that my OWP has been approved. And I should be receiving a mail for the same.

Congrats on all your great news God be with us! Glad to see something positive :)

it jumped from July 12th to July 16th!!

thats great news.... they also updated it to show 11 month wait time for first stage.. that sucks but whatever.. at least we're moving forward!

If we just keep pace I would be happy. If we can just process 1 month of applications in 4 weeks of time that would be great...

There are two months of applications ahead of mine... lets go go go
