Hi All,
Parents of principal applicant not able to attend the wedding taking place in Canada, due to financial constraint, can that pose any red flag on inland application?
Thanks All

just called CIC...still no update on my app...agent says that my app was transferred to mississauga...but, then said that vergreville responded to her request...so maybe it is still in verg...what could that mean? my app was received march of last year...this is so frustrating

Order your electronic case notes. THOSE are definitive and should give you more insight into what's going on with your application.

anyone correct me if I'm wrong but I think it'squite common if both the sponsor and applican's parents don't attend the wedding aspecially if the countries are in different continents

Hi lounge,

I'm the principal applicant.. I got married with my husband ( the sponsor) at City Hall, my parents didn't come due to the same reason as yours. But so far our application got AIP and DM also we're gonna have an interview with CIC at Etobicoke office this Wednesday. So i think so far we're doing okay. Hopefuly. :)

Some country apply outland actually fast then apply inland... so think X3 time be4 u apply inland . coz u have to know this route super crazy .
1.join bank account
2 Apt.lease or household ( with your name on it )
3.Phone history/chat log/message all good ( if don't have just ignore it)
4. marriage cetificate ( if u guys get marriage)
5.2 letters from your friends
6. photos(dating ,marriage,handout with friends)(ps; photos just give enough , u don't have send 300pics)
7. not sure u are doing common law or not , so 1 years phone bills in same place where you guys living , he also samething
8. you need to write u guys story
9. from have check list u can download from CIC website to check it

PS: genuineness or not really depend on officer. if he/she don't like it just don't like it ....

Have you check CIC website? They have all guides for every application specially for inland application. Its under Family Class applications?

I called to enquire about sponsorship application, they told me they are working on july 11 applications and i applied in august according to general processing time my work permit should come at the end of this month. but they told me to call after 2 month means in august. it means the total processing time is 12 months not 10 :( :(

This is very very stressful situation for me :(

Thanks,

So just to cheer you lot up. I did my fingerprinting through a 3rd party. Because I'm stupid. I didn't know I can go to the RCMP and get it done for free. Now we are short $45 because of my stupidity :(

Hi guys!

I'm just wondering now... I'm october 2013 applicant, i obviously still have no news regarding my application, I'm on a visitor visa now. I did not submit OWP with my initial application (which I regret now), so could I do it just now? Leaving a note 'do not process until AIP'? Would I get OWP with AIP, or that doesn't save it and I would still receive OWP somewhere around a month after AIP? thanksssssss ;)

Hi vaida,
since you are on a visitor visa now, applying for OWP will give you "implied status" should your visitor visa expire before getting AIP.

I am planning on applying for Permanent Residency and sponsorship from my husband. I am currently on work permit which means I can apply for PR under CEC as well. I do not know which would work better and faster for me in terms of processing time. I have tried applying PR once under CEC and it was rejected because the job description stated on the letter from my employer did not match that of the NOC.

Any suggestions? Any immediate response would be appreciated.

Thank you.
