Stay more positive. I know its hard but remember we attract what we think/say.
Lets hope( yes hope endlessly) that more of us receive good news in the weeks to come.
Can't agree more the law of attraction is always working, wether we believe it or understand it or not, which is
why I quit smoking today as it makes me even more anxious this whole thing is hard enough from now on I decided
think positively it's all I and he rest of us can really do. Have unwauthering feith.

The problem with some police certificates is that they expire after 6 months so waiting in some cases may be the only option.

CIC only accepts them if they are less than 90 days old. They can, in theory, receive them on the 90th day, but....that's pushing it.

Now I'm afraid they only going to give AIP when they have all the documents to give DM as well.
Well at the moment they are not doing that. On the current instruction guide for the application it says you can send in medical exam when requested by CIC. So people would still get AIP.

Medical Exams are expensive, and with a timeline close to 11 months for AIP, I'd say it's kinda risk to have your medicals expired sending it upfront.
Some people have had success sending in medicals after AOR and getting it linked with their application

The police certificate sent upfront, within the 90 days requested by CIC would have to be redone!?
I mean everyone that sent police certificate with the application have them sitting there for 10 months....

No. PCC has to be sent within 90 days of when the applicant, i.e. YOU, receive it. It stays valid throughout because you have applied Inland and obviously have not left the country since you applied so there is no point in CIC requesting another PCC unless you left Canada & stayed elsewhere for > 6months.
CIC is annoying but not dumb.

No. As long as CIC receives them within the 90 days, your file can continue to sit in a pile...in a dark room, and when they finally get to it and blow the dust off, the PCC will still be valid.

Of course, I hope your application is NOT sitting in the dark. ;)

Hi All, someone posted this and i decides to copy it just to have an idea of the answer
"One of the things CIC will ask you in an interview is what will happen if they refuse his PR application? What will you do?"

A friend of mine is going for landing interview on Monday.

Thanks all

Your friend would simply say that in the case of a refusal, they would leave the country and figure out what they do next outside of the country. I believe CIC just wants to make sure that you wouldn't stay illegally or without status

I received a letter from CIC, saying that our interview is going to be held on 11 June 2014 on ETOBICOKE. It's next week!! OMg guys!!! I'm nervous..!

What should i bring beside the 2 PR photos and my passport?
I already paid the PR fee in advance, so i'm not worry bout that.

Does my husband need to bring 2 photos as well?

What kind of question that the officer are going to ask us?

oh my GOD!!!

oh ya and i applied for OHIP last Monday. Although i don't have an open work permit, but i got the OHIP although its a temporary one, it only valid for a year. But, i thought its good enough to cover me if something happen in rainy days.
