What letter are you talking about!? I sent it together with PR, and the only letter I received was AOR. The general letter saying you can continue working on implied status are sent when people apply for OWP without PR, or after AOR.

Thanks!!! I've never seen this letter before, and that's why I think it should be an open statement to everyone on CIC webpage, so ends the doubts. Just one thing, when the letter say "does not benefit from implied status" it refers only to continue working, or no implied status at all?!

In my case it's IEC, and that's why I said some people continue working and some don't,, but it's clear they don't have an official response in this matter. CBSA says you still in fault in case it's illegal, even if the agents from CIC said you can continue working. It's a shame it's not clear...

You just have to choose to check application process, and then sponsorship, they first will say if it's outland to call a number, if it's inland "if you applied after august 20 2013 you application still not in process". Let's hope this date changes every week!
