From my point of view, I would say they updated to July 8 two weeks ago, coz that's the date they will start working on CPC-M, but for some reason they haven't start working yet.

Yeah thats true.. I am already 9 months and 3 days now.. Sigh!

to those who applied july 8th (gui & pritha), did you call CIC? If so, what did they say?? (Im guessing nothing useful and just to wait lol)

I did call CIC today, just like what you said, nothing useful and have to wait until the end of this month then i could call again.. I told them its already pass more than 8months since they received my file.. and they said "its now 9 months for the assessment". I was like wtf.. But it is what it is , i try to not think bout that much thats why i didnt know that it already changed to 9months..because i only check it once in 2 months..


So, have a big heart for all this crap.. Lol

yeah i called yesterday and same thing for me too. For us, its already past 9 months... hopefully next week we will hear something. Just being a wee bit optimistic here (but same story every week)

Hi girls, just to let you know the news about landing in Montreal.
MaxLet, Montreal office called me today to confirm (again) my info e the agent said they will send the landing appointment soon.
Is everything doing well with your process? Did they schedule something to you?

Dayse, even living in Gatineau we are landing in Montreal. The immigration office in our region is closed, so yes we have to drive till Montreal. Just hope the landing is not at 8:00 a.m

We keep in touch to exchange info!

Good to know, thanks for letting us know! I was hoping not to have to drive to Montreal, but maybe since we'll be there I can convince my husband to show me around Old Montreal...I've been hinting around about visiting there for the last couple of years!

Hey Danib! I received the confirm-info letter from montreal on tuesday last week, i reply it on thursday and friday i got an email from an agent. there was -as i expected-a prob with my married or single name, she just wanted to know in which one should i prefer to land.
i reply to it inmediately, so i guess now im also waiting for landing date.
let me know if you get your landing date!

For those who exceeded past 9 months for Spousal Sponsorship first stage approval

Here is CPC-mississauga email address CPCM-EXTCOM@cic.gc.ca

Use subject Application past processing times.
Include your UCI number in the email.

DO NOT SEND THIS SAME INQUIRY MORE THAN ONCE
it will cause a delay in your application.

But it's a good idea for those who past the 9 months mark.

If a few people send email it will draw their attention.

Hello everyone, I'm from Montreal, It's been a roller coaster ride for me, my documents (Medicare,SIN) is gonna expire this month but I haven't receive anything yet from the Immigration, I wasn't working for like already 10 months because I don't have any document that I can work since my last work permit is expired plus I'm also not working to my previous employer anymore it means I am not earning money, this is a really long wait for me I thought I can received any answers anytime soon but this long wait is crazy, hay I hope they,ex working on my papers already
