Hello,

I work at CBC, currently working on a story on delays in processing inland spousal sponsorship. Is anyone on this forum currently without medical coverage while waiting for approval in principle, or the first stage of sponsorship to be completed? If so, would you send me a personal message to Enza.Uda @ cbc.ca?

I'm also trying to reach screech339. I'd like to know more about the spreadsheet compiled -- 2012 Inland Applicant. Please email me as soon as possible.

Thanks in advance,
Enza

So bottom line, if my application is outland I cannot apply for a work permit at any time at all during the process, I just have to wait it out. What about medical? I'm now 22 and currently without coverage. We have written to them outlining the circumstances, but have not yet heard back.

Hoping someone will answer my question in this forum :(

I would just wait to hear back about AIP before you send more evidence cause chances are they haven't even looked at your file yet the way apps are moving atm. Wait till they ask you to provide more info unless you have doubts about your inland application. How long it is taking to process your app probably has nothing to do with your app not having enough proof CIC are just really slow last 2 months. Just call the call centre if your unsure about where to send it but since your file in in CPC-M now I would say it has to go there now

Yes, I am in Ontario.

Congrats Maxlet, yantaicalgary, and
xxpazaway!

That is great news! :D

Has ANYONE on here rec'd AIP or DM from the Mississauga office yet???

I think the ones we have heard of lately (the few and far between) have been from CPC-V still.....

At this rate doesn't seem like there could possibly be any movement tomorrow :(

Are you applying in-land or out-land? The one you have is for "Other family class applications" according to CIC website.

Your AOR information says September 2013. CIC is currently working on applications received on July 8th 2013. +/- 2 weeks. Have patience :)

I know!!!! And it looks like they are giving DM's faster, and leaving AIP's behind, unless they're working on the files and will release a bunch of them at the same time, I don't see why to be stuck on the same date since February. I'm also September applicant and things have to start moving!!!

How long does it take to get a owp mail? ... Cic told us they sent the letter on april 4, 2014

Trust me I have no idea either. I think they might have continued working on out-land since the transfer. Didn't anyone in CPC-M get the memo?! Inlanders were transferred there two months ago lol I personally wouldnt have any idea until i get my GCMS notes beginning of May. Even then it might not tell us anything.

Oh and from my siggie its officially 9 months and 1 day for me since they received my app. *slow applause*

I'm sure you'll be hearing from them in the near future. Your application date range is what they are entertaining right now, from what I see on their website.
