AckTivity that's exactly what they told my husband 2 days ago!.. We are on the same boat here.. I just can't believe it!! I honestly think (and I hope I'm wrong) that they are working on our applications like if we are 2014 applicants.. WHAT A JOKE!

Such a joke. You would think they could tell us something for crying out loud. I just don't understand.

I keep hoping that we'll just get a surprise! AIP/DM email and it will all be over like that. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You were contacted to get your medical done 2~3 weeks ago, didn't you?
Was the medical result sent electronically by the clinic to CPC?

I didn't send my medical with the application and I was going to get my medical done recently and send it to CPC without getting contacted first, but the clinic told me to wait until I get the e-mail (or mail) about the medical because it is much faster if I had the mail which contains the medical form and associated number to my file.

I believe if you did your medicals 2~3 weeks ago, you should get your AIP as soon as they find your medicals, match to your file and process it.
It shouldn't take 3 months for sure.

So frustrated. I decided to go ahead and call CIC again this morning since we haven't heard a peep after our original call two weeks ago. I was told that I am not supposed to call again until THREE MONTHS after the original inquiry call.

Seriously? They are already three months past our application submission date. Shouldn't we know something by now? People that applied after us are getting AIP and nothing for us. I can understand waiting one month, but THREE? That's ridiculous. Three months will be 13 months after we sent in our application.

I just want to curl up in a ball and weep. :'(

Happy Valentine's Day everyone..!!

Today is a day to be thankful that at least we can be here with our love ones. Other people cannot be together today..

Have a beautiful day…
Sending all my good vibes to each of you..!!

Haha you are not the only one.. I keep fantasying about getting AIP/DM and they make us LAND in a matter of a WEEK and request our PR CARD as "Urgent" hahaha.. In a perfect world eh ?!..

Crester, HARMIN

Hopefully all goes well for all of us......

Happy valentines Day :D

God Bless Us All

Yeah, hopefully they have my medical results.
M just nervous.....

Medical received update doesn't show up on ecas until they're done with stage 1. It only shows once they start processing the applicant side of the application. So don't worry.

Yep, and yep. Medical was done on January 21st, and they were supposed to have sent electronically. The weird thing is that apparently, normally, they don't request meds until after AIP.

Yeah, I really hope not. I assume they are telling us three months so we don't get underfoot and they can just email us when everything happens.

The agents at CPC usually don't seem to know what they are talking about. They are probably looking at some kind of user manual for reference when they receive calls. I think they are just telling you 3 months to give you big surprise when it arrives in 1 month.

I am just afraid that my case will be the same as yours since I didn't submit the medicals with my application.

Are you sure that people usually get AIP before sending the medicals?

That's what the person at the helpcenter said. And it makes sense. If the sponsor isn't approved it would seem a waste to spend all of that money on the medical if they say no.

Right.. that makes sense...
Then where the heck is your AIP and OWP???

johnny p ..not to worry ..medical need in second stage only ....but good idea if u send complete package so that u can save some time in processing ...complete package mean ..
1..complete application forms
2...necessary documents to support ur application
3...all fees paid up front
4... medical
5.... finger print
6... police clearance cert
After this just wait and pray ..if good luck then AIP and DM together ..otherwise gonna one by one stage :) :) :) :) :) :)

Refer to the spreadsheet more than a few ppl received AIP before sending the medicals. In the application instructions it states CIC will request medicals after the sponsor is approved if medicals were not already sent.

I sent everything with the application, except the medicals. So I don't expect to get AIP and DM at the same time.
As long as we get AIP and OWP before they ask for medicals, it should be fine.
