Have been doing that already, but it just says application received.

Oh ok, well, ecas is not consistent anyway nor reliable. Ive read some posts whose med results received wont show up. Med results anyway is needed only during stage 2 so you can confirm later should you not get both stages at the same time.

Happy Saint Valentine's Day everyone! This is a day when we can truly take a step back and see what it is that we're going through all this nerve wracking, patience testing, waiting period for. We are lucky enough to be with our significant others during this arduous process. Wishing everyone a romantic day!

Same to you! And it's very true...I'd rather be here with my hubby than anywhere else, and I'm thankful that I'm able to be here with him.

We've retained a lawyer to deal with the subject to removal order we received, we are trying to stay faithful and trust in God that a good outcome will follow. Still very much nervous, but I have to leave this in the hands of the Almighty.

HEADS UP TO THOSE THAT APPLIED IN EARLY-MID DECEMBER thru JAN 19!

Did you see that form IMM1344 (Application to Sponsor) shows that it was updated Nov 2013?

But, when I applied in mid-December, the website showed that the form had been updated in Aug 2013, NOT Nov, 2013?
At that time, only IMM 0008 had been updated (which was in Nov, 2013). This updated form was NOT on CIC's website on Dec 19, 2013.

Their website was updated Jan 20, 2014 to show this change so if you applied recently, check your copies of your forms (which hopefully you did make copies, or have them on your computer)!!!

Now comes the fun part; Calling CIC and asking if my application is going to be returned because they think I submitted an obsolete form...which I did NOT!

So frustrated. I decided to go ahead and call CIC again this morning since we haven't heard a peep after our original call two weeks ago. I was told that I am not supposed to call again until THREE MONTHS after the original inquiry call.

Seriously? They are already three months past our application submission date. Shouldn't we know something by now? People that applied after us are getting AIP and nothing for us. I can understand waiting one month, but THREE? That's ridiculous. Three months will be 13 months after we sent in our application.

I just want to curl up in a ball and weep. :'(

Wouldn't they return applications right away when then received them and before giving AOR?

You would think so, but since we're talking about CIC...it's anyone's guess. Seems like it all depends on the VO that works on your file and what their mood, or tolerance is on that particular day.

AckTivity that's exactly what they told my husband 2 days ago!.. We are on the same boat here.. I just can't believe it!! I honestly think (and I hope I'm wrong) that they are working on our applications like if we are 2014 applicants.. WHAT A JOKE!

Dont be worried. I remeber somebody did not receive aor and was panicking and then voila got aip and dm. So we will all be fine. But certainly, i know how it feels. Lets just hope and pray everythingturns out fine for all of us.

Nope, nothing. Not if there was a problem, if everything was fine, nothing.

The person I spoke to made it very clear that I really shouldn't call. In fact he said not to. Period. So, back to waiting on the Caips notes with hopes that they shed some light.
