Hey guys i got my aip yeterday n i forgot to mention

They asked me to provide my fingerprints but when i applied

My file for pr i provided pcc from my country n from canada as well at time

Is tht normAl i think on this form i have nvr seen anyone asked for fingerprints

I got my DM January 9th and only got my letter Monday but that's because I had to go to the post office and didm't go last week. The letter is dated Jan 21st so that is only
12 days after DM for ETOBICOKE.

Wow ! How happy . Hope it will be the case in Vancouver office .

Yes, this only applies to those who want to send their OWP after the initial submission of the app. but before AIP.

perhaps you can call them and specify that you have sent PCC already? in any case at this stage of your application you are on the good run.

I confirm! it was the same for me, you cannot apply online, you must mail it.

Note that this is now the brave new world. As of January 20, 2014, inland applications are sent to CPC-M and CPC-M does not accept temporary status applications. Thus, open work permits and that long period of implied status are a thing of the past it would seem.

Can you clarify a bit more? I'm not sure I understand what you're saying.

You can't get implied status by including an OWP along with your inland application as of this month. You'd need to extend your stay as a visitor whenever it runs out.

The Vancouver office is known to be one of the slower ones to schedule your landing interview. You should probably take a lonnnnng nap. ;D

hey guys I got AIP and OWP today finally am so so happy and excited however I thought that I would also get DM but they are requesting me to fill in a new background declaration form and also I did include medical and police certificates in my app but it says that a final decision will not be made until these requirements are met which are medical and security checks. what do I do?
