Do i need a canadian police certificate for my PR?? Or once i am approved for PR?

It is not so much as an automatically cancel your status because you left Canada. The issue is the ability to get back into Canada is where the trouble lies. If you get denied to enter back into Canada, only then does your application gets canceled since you are no longer "living" with your sponsor. There are some cases where some people have left on a short "vacation" a week/2 max and be able to re-enter Canada, even though they are from a visa required country. What gives them strength in being able to re-enter is having a TRV and OWP/WP/PGWP.

Hi! I’ve a similar question. My application has been processing since this March.

I and my wife planned to back home to visit our parents and relatives this December. But we will stay for a month.

Will it be consider too long when I re-enter Canada?

My husband and I (I am the sponsor) are leaving Tuesday to go to England for 2 weeks. He really needs a visit home as it has been 2 years since he has seen his family. I know that there are risks to doing this but he is desperate to go home. I have researched and made phone calls and with the help of members in this forum I don't foresee there being an issue upon our return. He is visa exempt and I am travelling with him so hoping for an easy return with the IO. I have been so stressed about coming back into Canada. Please pray for us!!

It's been now 2 months since we sent our application.......and m already getting impatient ......every time I think bout it........I get nervous......& anxious. I know every one in this forum is going through same emotions......but couldn't stop myself from sharing it.

It's getting to the point where I'm wondering if this strike will ever end! I can't believe its been going on this long and to read this doesn't give me anymore hope for a resolution anytime soon sigh ... if only they were in our shoes ...
