How to receive Canadian (BC) driving license when you are waiting for PR? ???
I have multiple visa, which will be expired this November together with my passport.
I am Russian, moved with my husband (Canadian) and our two children(now three) (Canadians) to Vancouver last July.
Then we left to USA in December for 3 weeks and from December 30th my visit began to count next 6 months.
We applied for Sposorship and my Permanent Residence at the end of January.
I am driving all the time (mostly like soccer Mum) with my Russian licence, which I can use for 6 months as tourist.
6 months are expired on June,30 th. And what to do???
PLEASE ADVISE!!!
Will they give me BC driving license if I am not resident???
I'm a bit west of Edmonton. I was able to get mine last year after receiving AOR. I had to bring the letter with me, along with my passport and a driving abstract from my home country. It was only good for a year, but since then I got my OWP and now my license is good until the end of that or until I get PR and then it will be five years like everyone else.AchankengCrawford said:Does anyone know the answer to the driver's license for Alberta?

You can submit an 'Outland' application while in Canada (that way, you can leave when you want). I do not see any chance of your application failing when you have a 17-year relationship and 3 children.Rusalka said:thanks a lot!!!
One more question. If I apply for PR in January 2014 -when to expect PR? ???
My husband and three children are Canadians, me and my husband (he was born in Vancouver) are together for 17 years.
I d like to visit my parents and want to fly to warm countries for vacations, but can not leave while waiting. :'(
