GUYS MY APPLICATION IN PROCESS SINCE AUGUST 29/2013....I AM GIVING U ADVISE JUST CALL THEM AND ASK THEM IF UR APPLICATION UNDER PROCESS OR NOT?? .....BECAUSE U GUYS ALREADY KNOW WHAT HAPPEN TO CIRENE APPLICATION ...GOOD LUCK GUYS

This refers to the Application to sponsor a member of the Spouse or Common-Law Partner in Canada Class you submitted to this office on behalf of ____________ and family (if applicable).

You have met the requirements for eligibility as a sponsor. The Application for Permanent Residence will be processed separately and the applicant will hear from this office shortly.

Your sponsorship agreement is a formal agreement between you and your family member. As a sponsor you have made a commitment to provide for the lodging, care and support of your family member in the event that they are unable or unwilling to support themselves.

If your family member’s application for Permanent Residence is approved your obligation will begin the day on which your family member becomes a Permanent Resident of Canada. If your family member entered Canada on a temporary resident permit following an application for permanent residence, your obligation will begin on the date of that entry to Canada.

Thank you so much Guri. Do you know when will I or my wife receive the next letter from CIC? I just received the AIP few days ago. I am waiting for the letter where they ask you to do medical and stuff. Could you please adivise me on this. thank you so much for your patience and selfless service to all. cheers

You don't have to wait for anything to get medicals done. Sooner you do them, faster you get DM.

GURI WHY NOT ....IF REALLY WE CAN GET PR FASTER THIS WAY THEN GO AHEAD ...BUT I DON'T THINK SO AFTER DM THEY GONNA LET U DO THIS ....WHAT DO U THINK ??

Yeah, I was just kiddin. But, what about someone who has a legit reason to move? For instance, got a better job in another province. Wonder what CIC will do in that situation.

This is AIP. DM letter will say something like 'We are pleased to advice processing of your application has been completed.'
P.S. Applicant will receive the DM letter.

Hi.. To those that did their medical upfront, did your medical show up in Ecas at any stage?
Was it supposed to be updated in the Ecas before or after AIP or at any time at all?
I did mine upfront in Sept 2013 and submitted application in Oct 2013 but it was never shown in my sponsor/my Ecas at all..(Although we are just 4 months or so into processing)
Should I be worried?

Typically, it shows after getting AIP.

We also submitted our application with medical and police check done and all fees paid including PR. Do know how people got DM letter? Just wondering if its just depending on the case cause we already have everything completed.

Check out the link I 'shared' (tried to share the link directly but couldn't, someone else posted it for me). Look at page 43 for the decision process and appendices B (AIP), G (sponsorship approved) and F (invitation to interview) to see what the actual letters look like.
