Don't stress out, I have couple of debts as well and had no issues receiving DM.

I wasn't too worried about the debt part, just more the consumer proposal itself, if claiming "financial hardship" will hurt the process at all.

THAT'S NOT TRUE ...NO ONE CAN GET AOR WITH IN 2 DAYS ..MAY BE SHE TRIED TO TELL U SHE SENT THE FILE ON THAT DATE AND RECEIVED BY CIC ON THAT DATE ...ITS NOT AOR DATE ....

But the AOR, in essence, translates to the date that CIC received it, so while she could not have possibly received the AOR email in 2 days, her application probably did arrive in 2 days.

It won't create any delays or issues with your file. The notes will be generated within a few days when you apply but,they send them after 30 days so, when you receive them, keep in mind they are not the latest ones (probably a month old).
You would be ordering gcms notes(through sponsor) and filling out consent form ATIP (filled by applicant).

True, but for spreadsheet purposes AOR is the date when the sponsor receives the email of acknowledgement.

Just wanted to let you know that I am still not able to see my status online, but I was able to get the status by calling in and using the automated telephone services. It said they received the application on Sept 10th and that was all.

Just wanted to let you know that I am still not able to see my status online, but I was able to get the status by calling in and using the automated telephone services. It said they received the application on Sept 10th and that was all.

JHONNY P BETTER U CALL CIC REGARDING UR PROBLEM ...BECAUSE APRIL 2013 APPLICANT NAME CIRENE ALSO GOT SAME PROBLEM ...SHE CAN'T LOG IN TILL JAN2014 LAST MONTH ..BUT WHEN CIC START MAY APPLICATION THEN SHE CALL UP CIC AND BY THAT TIME ONLY SHE NOW HER FILE NOT YET START PROCESSING ..MAY BE CIC OFFICE STAFF PUT HER FILE IN THE CORNER AND TOTALLY FORGET ABOUT IT ...BUT LAST MONTH AFTER SHE MADE FEW CALL TO CIC THEN THEY START PROCESSING HER FILE ON JAN,30/2014.....GOD BLESS HER AND ALL OF US TOO ....

Thank you so much Guri. Do you know when will I or my wife receive the next letter from CIC? I just received the AIP few days ago. I am waiting for the letter where they ask you to do medical and stuff. Could you please adivise me on this. thank you so much for your patience and selfless service to all. cheers

don't worry JohnnyP, mine also says only that they have received the application. this is already good news, means that all the requested forms are in and duly signed etc. Now you will have to wait until they start examine the sponsor, it seems they are now only looking at
march/may applications. So it is too early.

I called CIC and I have good news, the agent told me that the officer who is reviewing my application is working hard on it and I should hear from them in the next couple weeks max.. and I asked him if I have to wait another 9 months and he said "no no, you won't" SO THAT'S GREAT GUYS! I'm feeling good about all this again..
