INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hi guys,

Just going through the 2012 applicants and it appears that CIC is now processing applications received on the 17th of December yay!!!!! Its not going to be long till they start the 2013 applications.

Tell me about it Cirene! You and my husband will be the first two people to know (other than myself of course) when we get AIP/DM! Assuming we get it before you and yours. It should mean that you get yours around the same time if you haven't at that time!

Also, does anyone know if there is a specific day of the week that CIC updates their wait times page?

Haha that's right we are waiting buddies Same here, if I know anything I'll let you know. I just can't wait to open the CIC page and see "2013" instead of "2012"

Mmm they update the page every Wednesday but it actually shows on Thursdays!

Every Thursday morning I wake up grab my phone and check the processing time hehe!

I'm not sure about that. We just sent in ours on Nov 1st and we have called both the CIC and the FBI in the states when we received the request from CIC for FBI Clearnance and they all mentioned the same thing that it is just one FBI certificate that is required for immigration purposes unless they have different requirements or rules... I thought I'd let you know

Under some circumstances, CIC will request that a US applicant obtain state police clearance letters. For example, if the FBI report indicates a state level issue, then CIC may want to have the details from the specific state.

I know how you feel. I am always checking the 2012 inlanders and just read that someone applied on the 20th of dec received AIP already... So things are ok...

jan 2013 applicants will be getting good news before it actually shows on cic website. According to them they are working on apps received on November 27th however December 20th applicants are getting good news so in reality they only have 11 more days worth of 2012 apps then its on to jan.

This is so exciting!! I'm January 15 and thought I had a waaaay longer wait than I actually do!

Once you get AIP...what does that actually mean? approval in principal isnt the final approval (DM) ..does it just mean that the sponsor has been approved ..but they are still assessing the applicant?

hi I got my aor in june and my ecas is working just fine I just put in my application # and my information . However my sponsor s ecas dones not work. Cic is now working in the eleven month apps right but I am hopfull that things will pick up faster and the processing time will decrease. Like all the members keep saying it is not recommended toleave the country when you got an inland app in case you are not allowed back in you application will be abandoned.

As far as I know, that's exactly what it means. You're qualified to be a sponsor, and then they start looking at the actual applicant.

Although lately you will notice a fair number of 2012ers getting AIP and DM in the same day. Which must mean they do a fair amount of checking out the Applicant during the first stage as well.

yea also if u included all the info in your app such as medical care and police certificate and you have a straightforward case there is a high chance of you receving aip and dm at the same time.but if cic hv to request these documents after aip u will be for a longer wait.

The first person is JAIMEB who already got AIP (but he applied in November 2012)

Allydx applied in January so I'm pretty sure we will hear from Allydx soon.

And UKZippy got AIP and Dawlex got AIP and DM
