I hope you guys are doing great. I have been away from the forum for a bit.
updates from my side: I'm still waiting for a DM
We received passport renewal notice as mine expired while it was with CIC. Tried our best to renew it but they wouldn't let us without the old one. As such sent all paperwork related to the attempts back to CIC.
Been checking ecas but got no updates there. Re-did my medical in March. It's been a long time and we are getting impatient will call call center to inquire as it has been 3 months since the documents were sent in.
I hope everybody else who applied with me got their DMs.
It's a hard time but our little new born son helps make everything better. Hoping for good news soon.
i don't think you need to sent passport to CIC .. why you sent that ?linxord said:Hello everyone

You don't need to pay the RPRF fee as stated by another member. That was included in the 1040 that you already paid. The only other fees you might incur other than medical might be fingerprints for the police check if you haven't done that yet (I suggest you do this ASAP if you have not)and photos for your PR card itself once you've complete the process and are ready to land. They usually require new photos to bring to your landing interview.Brazilian Canadian said:Just I question so I better understand, with your guys knowledge and experience!
