First of all, same sex relationship is not unusual, especially in Canada. Second, being young is not unusual too
Relax, everything is fine. I´m going to tell you this: My CSQ is dated 21 feb and I got AIP on 16 march but my ecas changed on 18 march. From 21 feb to 18 march is 26 days. You received your CSQ on 8 march so...don't panic. Just hold on a couple of days more

I am also in a same-sex relationship and there is a considerable age difference between my partner and me, and I just got AIP. I don't think relationships like ours are treated differently, Canada is a pretty open country and when it comes to government procedures they all treat heterosexual couples the same way they do to homosexuals ones.

Are you guys married? If you are in a common-law relationship it may be the reason for the transfer, they want to make sure you are indeed in a relationship and you are not only roommates, or a friend helping the other to immigrate to Canada.
If that's the case gather as much evidence as you can to proof the genuineness of your relationship(photos, letters from friends and family, cards, letters w/ both your names and address ...)

They do, but all the applications goes under the same ID. So yes the client ID on your visitor record is basically your ID.

Hi SssS,

I hope this date is not the landing because then mine it will be in January 19, 2012. This date is the same date my maladie card expire, maybe you could check yours; but really have no clues.
Perhaps BB could confirm this since she already could compare the date on Number 31 and the date of her interview appointment.
If she says yes, theyn I believe I will have to pass by :/.
My confirmation brought a few mistakes, however they were 3 ways of sending it, did you send it by mail? because I sent it by fax and email.

One other thing I noticed is, that the ''almost landing letter'' is dated March 3, I received it March 14, by regular post - and one of the lines was "we need to receive the payment within 5 day from the receipt of this letter" - how would they know when I received regular mail, I wonder. So if it takes 11 days for the letter to go through the mail section of CIC and within Montreal, I guess I should hear something in the next two weeks )))

When was your letter dated and when did you acctually receive it?

Cmilo: I am sorry to hear that. Seems like they would like to clear some things ups with you. I would say order your FOSS notes now (fax the request) and see what they are questioning. How much evidence did you include? And what country are you from?

P.S. They are supposed to treat same-sex couples in the same manner. Plus, I hope being young isn't a reason you're transferred because me and hubby are both 21 but known each other since we were 18. Also, I think you mean you were married a year on Mar 27th not May 27th. Anyway, congratulations. ;D

And FOSS notes are the notes the IO's enter about your file all from border crossings, extensions, visa/permits, and permanent residence applications. It may talk about what they are doubting or wanting more information on so you are able to prepare for an interview better. They are also free to request and if you fax them you can get them in 1-3 weeks. You are going to fill out the "Access to Information and Personal Information Request Form". And fax it to this number: 780-603-2693 And DON'T order "IN CANADA FILE (FOSS included)" you want the "FOSS (information in Canada)"

As usual thank you for being so kind and helpful with helping me with this chart. And for also being so patient. I am so glad that there was so much to update on. Helps relax the nerves to see just how many people are getting approved. I hope one day it all is filled with approvals. Anyway, please read below for what I have updated on this chart.

When was your letter dated and when did you acctually receive it?

My letter dated was March 14 and I received on March 24, however my letter do not said to ay the fees bcs I already paid. However, Montreal CIC contact me before CIC asking me to verify the information in the Confirmation PR. I already did, and now waiting for landing interview.
