Just saw surrender certificate is under review at indian embassy /counselate

Vancouver is slower than Toronto. They used to take 4-6 weeks before. Not sure about the latest timelines.

Check the status on BLS website, it should say that Ready for Collection

I think by the end of this week or by next week you should see this update on BLS website, please keep checking for it on the BLS tracker. The consulate's part is over I believe now

Applied on 30th July in surrey office under Vancouver jurisdiction. Still passport seva site says surrender certificate is under review. Can anyone please comment on the timelines here ?

Hey.. Just received my surrender certificate. I am not able to book BLS appointment for OCI so I am planning to send it by mail. If I book pickup & drop off then there is no need to include any extra fee. It will be $345 (for OCI) + $7.40 (BLS) right? Also, I am planning to travel to India around 6th April so any experience with OCI processing time?

How did you get hold of the Surrender certificate. Did you contacted BLS for your issue ?
