Question....If I validate a form and then go back and change something on the form, does it have to be re-validated? If yes - do I just hit the validate button again?
Yes. If you change anything on the application after you have validated the form, you need to press valid again.

The form is for spouse/common law sponsorship. Doesn't apply to you as you are the dependent.

I am seeing everyone sayin that you can get sponsor if you over 21 but that is not true because this what is on CIC website

Dependent children
A son or daughter is dependent when the child:

is under age 22 and does not have a spouse or common-law partner,
is over age 22 and has
been enrolled as a full-time student on an ongoing basis and
depended largely on the financial support of a parent since before age 22,

Being over 21 does not mean that you are 22. Therefore for CIC purposes if your birthday is and you turn 22 on December 31, 2013 means that you are 21 until December 31, 2013.

You have a good point. OP is a student. OP would have to prove that he is largly dependence on his mother. So he would have to prove that his mother paid for all his education, room and board, etc.
However if OP is part time student, then it doesn't apply.

Yep they would have to prove it and be a fulltime student tooo...but how are they going to prove it cause I am not aware of CIC asking for any financial statement to prove that they are dependent on financial support

The OP is 21 (therefore under 22), therefore as long as his complete application reaches CPC-Mississauga before his 22nd birthday he is a depandant of his mother.

You are missing my point the OP can be over 22 and still be consider a dependent. CIC classification of a dependent is below however come January 1, 2014 this will not be so anymore

Dependent children

is under age 22 and does not have a spouse or common-law partner,
is over age 22 and has

depended largely on the financial support of a parent since before age 22,

You are missing some of the definition:
-be under the age of 22 and not have a spouse or common-law partner, or
-depend substantially on the financial support of a parent and have been continuously enrolled and in attendance as full-time students in a post-secondary institution accredited by the relevant government authority since before the age of 22
-depend substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22 and be unable to provide for themselves due to a medical condition.

Is there a medical condition of the applicant here? If not, and they are not enrolled full time in school, then they will not qualify based on anything except getting the application in before they turn 22 years old.

I know I am aware of that.....if you are not enrolled full time in school, then you will not qualify based on anything except getting the application in before turning 22 years old

But

if you are enrolled in school full time before reaching 22 but you are now over the age of 22 you qualify on the based you depend substantially on the financial support of a parent and have been continuously enrolled and in attendance as full-time students in a post-secondary institution accredited by the relevant government authority since before the age of 22

I'm not sure what you are trying to get at. Long story short, up until Dec 31, 2013... the ONLY ways you can be sponsored at age 22 or over is if:
- you are enrolled full time in school or
- you have a medical condition that makes you dependent on parents financially

Starting Jan 2014, the age drops to 18 only, and education clause is removed.

The poster here has already graduated and is no longer in school, so there is no possible way to qualify except by age alone.
