I received email saying that our application has been transfer to Hong Kong Visa Office today. I saw some Hong Kong applicants only takes 7 months to get final DM and landed. I am wondering is that a regular timeline if everything goes smooth? Please advise.

Dear all,

We send the application documents (family spouse sponsorship) on 6/7 from Hong Kong & confirmed it was delivered on 11/7 by post office, but wait for over 60 days and do not received any confirmation eMail from the Ca Immigation Office, anyone have the same situation & is it normal? Thanks for any sharing from you for this issues!

Thanks & Regards!

Raymond Leung

It's worth to call the IRCC (1-888-242-2100) and ask.

We had sent in our outland application on June 14th to Sydney office. Hong Kong visa office had started processing our application on September 22nd and now waiting for background check. I heard the processing time can be from 7 months to 12 months.........

Hi,
Can someone with interview experiences tell if I need to have my recent chat records, some receipts translated and notarized for interview, or I just translate it by myself as in the original application?

Thanks for any inputs

Hey Harvey,

Did you received any "Bulletin 1" from email yet?

My friend had interview experience and she said what she had prepare for the interview was useless because the officer was not looking into any of them as she already had the questions she want to ask in mind. So my suggestion is: If they did not ask you to prepare, just seat back and relax and pray for the best!!

Good luck.

Hello guys,
sorry it is off topic but i submitted my Permanent Residency application (FSW program) and my file is in Hong Kong.

Do you please have a Group that discusses processing time at Honk Kong visa? Or, can you add me/ send me link to join some related discussions?

Thanks!

Hi everyone,
Got interviewed yesterday in HKVO, gave back passport and updated stuff, today got invitation of pre-arrival service letter.
anyone with experience can tell what is going on. I heard if VO don't keep the passport, then interview failed, but I got the pre-arrive letter next day after interview.
Thank you very much, want to make mind ease

Congrats! I think you should be fine. That is what I heard too. They took the passport and you also got pre arrival so I think should be DM soon.

Would you mind sharing some info why they required u to have interview? How long your relationship and any children? Thanks!
