yea makes sense.Aquakitty said:Well, you said they are requesting "civic Marriage documents" but you can't get such a thing as Druze in UAE nor Lebanon it seems, so maybe they don't encounter that very often....
LOST777 said:UPDATED: went back to the lebanon embassy and after telling them someone upstairs that the cic rejected the first marriage paper they freaked out and cursed canada a couple times. so they will give me a 'paper' to shut the up.
but
the police report will take 2-3 months to process they told us. i emailed the cic office in romania explaining that the marriage papers are done and ready but the police is not and i asked for an 3 month time extension.
because her university is started the new semester and she cant travel to lebanon. and since she is syrian i dont want her to go there anyways because of bad blood between the two great nations.
what are the rules for an extension. im thinking we need 4 months extra to send this police report in. this useless pointless clean report of a student.
i think they should know that the record is clean. they wouldnt have let her leave lebanon at the airport long ago if she had a crime. also, they have her dubai police report and its clean.
Generally, if you show IRCC that you are complying with their request but it is taking longer because of factors out of your control, they will give you as much time as you need to obtain the requested documents.LOST777 said:what are the rules for an extension. im thinking we need 4 months extra to send this police report in. this useless pointless clean report of a student.

already checked its valid 8).wildemam said:It is very important to note that the rules for CIC states that the marriage must be valid in two countries: - Canada and - The country where it took place.
You should check if that's the case with your application and then adjust your application. Maybe you need to apply as common law partnership.
When it gets closer to the end of that 30 days, request another extension.LOST777 said:what will happen now?
im guessing they will send back my application to my home in canada? and when i finally get the police report just resubmit it?
does she have to do the medical over again because its almost been a year since she did it. I believe it was march of 2016. or can i just resubmit.
and the uae police report only takes one day to get so we can do that again easily.
do i lose my 1080 dollars i paid for the application?
That might work.canuck_in_uk said:When it gets closer to the end of that 30 days, request another extension.

Now....
The police are saying they don't have her name in the data base how can they print one out. They don't save all details of people who stay one year only and are not Lebanese.
Can we get a letter from a Lebanon judge saying she didn't commit a crime and just did one year of university there?
that will cost more money or you have to donate some money in the police force in Lebanon and they find her. and you have to pay for the judgeneral to do a letter plus translator your talking at least 700
Do you have that in writing from the police in Lebanon? If so, you can try for an exemption from IRCC. Show everything that you did to get the PCC and have your spouse write a letter of explanation that she tried but couldn't obtain the PCC.LOST777 said:The police are saying they don't have her name in the data base how can they print one out. ok and if the police dont do it i'll ask the judge to write one.canuck_in_uk said:Do you have that in writing from the police in Lebanon? If so, you can try for an exemption from IRCC. At least IRCC is responding fairly quickly. Getting a PC is not set in stone, if there are legit extenuating circumstances for not having one. A letter of explanation by whoever gave you this information should be enough.LOST777 said:ok and if the police dont do it i'll ask the judge to write one.
