Hello Messiboi, first of all happy new year and be positive. We are on same page, Like everyone suggesting get a good laywer who had experience particularly in H&C cases , had success in past with their other H&C clients. These people are just sharing their expertise as they are here from long time and they will be happy to help with you any doubts you have but You need to get a Good immigration consultant and beware dont get ripped off by them!Hi everyone.
New to this.
I am planning to apply under H&C ground. I am not applying for refugee. I just wanted to know what happens when your visa (mine in study permit) expires while the H&C application process is underway. I know I wont be able to apply for work permit until the Stage 1 AIR. Seeing that it will take alot of time to reach to this stage 1, and my visa will end way before I reach this stage, what are the chances of getting visitor visas approved if my current study permit ends. Thank you,
Congrats on your AIP and welcome to the club.Yes

Thanks for your response. What we did for background check is that the lawyer sent it via email, we signed and then sent it back via email again. No mail at all. Hope this works for you it's faster and will save your money.
Hope you get an accurate response on your inquiry.
Good luck
No,my case is different than yours that's why I didn't comment on it. I just answered the part related to background check. We're in Canada but due to pandemic we were not able to see our lawyer so everything was done via email. Thanks for your response.
Were you outside Canada as at then when the Principal (Your husband or wife) applied?
The forms says original copies only and 2 passports of each dependants...
Please,I need more enlightenment.
Thanks

You can hear opinions here of course but follow what is ok for your situation.
I do not think your spouse or children has to fill out the form since they are not accompanying. I believe after success with your application you then sponsor your spouse. But if you want to be on the safe side, you can email the form and let your spouse sign it, electronically.Hello everyone.
I am eligible for the new program known as the
"Pathway for healthcare workers"
I am the only one here in Canada for now while wife and 2 kids are in my home country.
Does my wife need to fill the background and additional family form despite not in the country at the moment?
The form states if they are accompanying me or not, spouse or common-law partner need to fill and sign it.Same for my kids are above 18 years of age. They need to fill separately.
I have spoken to some Laywers, some said no while some said yes.Though this program is novel, but some questions in it are a bit tricky.
To those of you who have pass through H & C with similar family situation, what did you do?
I am considering sending my wife a copy of the family and background forms for her to sign and date. She will mail it back to me here. This can be expensive and take about a week or more.
Same thing I thought also. The form states either they are accompanying you or not, they have to fill it.I do not think your spouse or children has to fill out the form since they are not accompanying. Just a thought..
Good luckHello House
Happy New Year may this New Year be better than the previous one for us.
Now to my question of the day I receive a letter from cbsa asking me to come that a decision has been made concerning my PRRA... please what does it mean and has anybody experienced such? Thanks for your reply.
But i already have AIP so does it matter?Good luck
when I received it last year it was a rejection.
And on the other hand my friend got the approval 2 months ago on her PRRA.
Just be prepared for the worst scenario PRRA approval rate is 2% only.
Of course never lose hope, there is a hope within the 2%.
