Nobody knows again, I have been waiting for 2nd stage since May 2023. And my application is already 23 months. It's all depends on the officer.

@Ivy.998 you get that response when application is no longer in process. Check status online or contact your lawyer if you have one. If not check your email. Best of luck

my h and c application is in progress but I haven’t heard back from cic yet since i applied and now i am fearing for my life if I were to send back to my country of origin,so my question is can i apply to become a refugee/protected person
while my h and c application is in process
