Punjabis, Bengalis, Telugus, Tamils, Marathas, Mallus all are mostly left leaning and they make most of the Indian diaspora. Gujjus, Kannadigas, and cow belt North Indians are extreme right wingers but their population is not huge. Most of these cow belt population come illegally or family based or thru business and very few migrate as skilled. So Indians may give you a perspective of being left wing but in actual they are currently extreme right wingers. India was left leaning until 2014 and things changed. Things will again move left soon.
*Ahem* We indians are interesting folks. We tend to be left leaning in foreign lands and very right leaning in our homeland. My family votes for BJP always. My extended family votes for Democrats in USA always. Thats how we all roll.
Long Live Modi! Hello Biden!

While we are at it, why do people here think MM controls all of Canada's immigration policy? All summer the IRCC continues to maintain that it's policies throughout the pandemic are implemented in collaboration with HC and other major shareholders. I doubt any overarching changes to IRCC's policy implementations over the next few years depend on any individual person as much as it does on the Canada's rulling party and the type of government.

How is no one seeing that?
This is you being logical. Someone needs to be responsible and we need to direct this anger somewhere - or would you like to take the job?

Apparently, it’s a Liberal minority win again. So calling elections was a total waste of time and resources.

What are the chances of JT reshuffling his Cabinet though? Last I checked, he did that in January for about 4 positions

We had covid, lockdowns, CEC draws, big backlog, vaccinations, flight bans, Afghanistan crisis, election, waiting to see what new thing comes up next.

It's a cycle. COVID cases rising again. No repercussions of losing popularity. He can comfortably initiate lockdowns again (although that's more of a provincial thing) and use it as an excuse to 'not welcome candidates from abroad'. Unless you're a student, tourist, old or a citizen of a first world country (IEC)

Incredibly generalised overview… but …. Interesting

So now that Liberals have won again, NOC-based FSW next year?

If another party had rolled in, they would have called the actions of the previous party crazy and could have cancelled pending applications. Now that the same party is in power again, they probably won't cancel because that would like calling yourself an idiot, which is not a good look for a politician.

I am glad the status quo has been maintained.

But the biggest question is how long are the going to string us along?

All the excuses have been exhausted now.
I'm more pumped to find out what they are hiding in their shit bag of excuses than expecting fsw draws!

Bring it on Cappucino,i sincerely hope you get promoted up in the cabinet so that we never ever have to deal with your douchebag decisions again.

Nope. I have many (non-software) engineer friends (mechanical, electronics etc) who found skilled engineering jobs in their fields in Germany without setting foot in Germany and without speaking a single word of German. Needless to say, software jobs don't require any German. Germany is the country that's building the next revolution in engineering and general tech and they need many skilled people right now.

Also, the most German you'll require for any legal necessity is B2, which is easily achieved in 1-2 years.

Netherlands is quite good nowadays too.
Any chance for Sales and Marketing roles in Germany or Netherlands without knowing the language?
