I went with Scotiabank. They charged me 70 bucks for a chequebook which was supposed to be free. I emailed them, they asked me to phone them. I phoned them and waited 30 mins and they told me to go visit a branch. I decided it's not worth my time and marked it down as a loss. Will open an account with TD soon.CIBC was better. The agents weren’t pricks. I was able to get a credit card easily. Scotiabank treated me like sh*t
Scotiabank has a better credit card, if you like the cash back module, but their customer service sucks.I went with Scotiabank. Scotiabank also is the only major bank in Canada to offer a no foreign transaction fee credit card. Again one of the differences vs USA where many banks offer such credit cards.Scotiabank has a better credit card
TD also does not send SMS alert for transactions which is a very basic feature to have these days.Don't get TD, they're a buncha cheap fks that will do anything to make money off you. Scotia, I know is good for free cinema tickets as rewards; good if you're a teenager. CIBC has the most rewards and immigrant friendly. RBC idk too much
Agree, this is huge drawback. So if one loses TD credit card and is used by someone else, card holder wont even be alerted. I dont know whether other banks act the same way.TD also does not send SMS alert for transactions which is a very basic feature to have these days.
separate packages. Consider submitting in person since VFS is slowly opening up their services. See updates here - https://visa.vfsglobal.com/ind/en/can/covid-19-updatesWhen I send passport and letter to VFS, do I have to send separate envelopes for me and spouse? Or does it all have to be in one package. We have applied for fsw in one application, with me as primary applicant
CRS score 519. Hope to get an ITA in July.If you dont mind, can I ask what score are you standing at ?
And how are you looking forward towards the draws ? Would we be able to get an ITA before the C-19 ?
The minister it trying to bring back the 6 month standard processing time, so if you would be invited in September, you would receive PPR beginning of March.Hey guys! I have some questions. Let's assume we get ITA around September 2022, When will we receive "okay, you are good to go." visa? I assume it is called PPR.
Also, I am trying to read everyone's signatures to see the timeline, is there any easier way? Thanks in advance.
It all depends, case by case basis. How complex your application is etc. etc. In the best scenerio it should not take more than 6 months in more complex cases it can takie 12 months or longer.Hey guys! I have some questions.
