Exactly!! I mean who are they kidding?? and where are these hardworking friends who follow forums so religiously like no tomorrow?I have a nothing-to-do-with-fsw-draws question.
Why so many indians in Canadian immigration Facebook groups, before they ask a question put "asking for a friend"?
Are they really asking for a friend? Or for some reason they don't want people to know they are asking for themselves?
I'm asking with respect, I really want to know.
What are you saying man?90% of India is rural and does not have internet access so usually they rely on their friends to gather information.
Good to see. I hope the trickle of PPRs is about to startFSW AOR October/2019 from a Brazilian AOR WhatsApp group I’m in got their first COPR today.
You are a legend. Your story is inspiring. Congrats champ. No ITA for old man
Hello everyone,
Today after more than 3 years of wait, I would like to share a small but significant step in my PR journey.
Age: 38 Yrs, FSW-O, No relative in Canada, No Job offer, No studies in Canada, Masters (but WES evaluated the masters as 1 yr diploma), 15+ yrs of experience as IT Business Analyst
My timelines are as follows:
Jan 2018 - Started the EE process
Jul 2018 - Was able to create profile in EE at 35 years of age with 438 points (IELTS - L9/R9/S7/W7.5). We used to get ITA at 441 during that time
Jul 2018 to Dec 2018 - Tried IELTS many times to get CLB10 to increase score to 441 points but it didn't happen. Started French learning journey
Dec 2018/Jan 2019 - ITA score dropped to 438 but I missed due to the date cutoff. OINP also invited 439+ scope so didn't get OINP PNP as well
Feb 2019 to Apr 2021 - ITA cutoff score increased and now 470+ became the normal cutoff. Due to increasing age, I lost points every year but kept improving in French language skills day by day.
May 2021 - Passed TCF Canada test in second attempt after 2.5 years of practice (Listening 505 (C1), Reading 496 (B2), Writing 13 (B2), Speaking 15 (C1)). CRS points increased to 477 (not including wife's IELTS which expired in 2020).
Aug 2021 - Got ITA from Quebec for PNP. At 38 yrs of age, I see a light towards PR journey. There is still a lot to do be done, but it is still a significant step for me.
Just want to thank everyone in this group. I know it is hard for all of us, but we have our own individual paths to follow.
Wait how is it possible? How can you have Quebec pnp without job offer? No ITA for old man

Its one or two cases.. Not many like this.https://www.thestar.com/news/canada/2021/08/12/this-familys-immigration-application-was-in-process-for-57-months-now-a-judge-has-given-ottawa-30-days-to-make-a-decision.html
Are we even sure this is worth it?
I have never been to a first-world country. Are all "first-world" countries like this or is it just Canada?
Your story is inspiring. That's the never-give-up spirit everyone should have. Merci d'avoir partagé votre histoire. Bon courage pour la suiteNo ITA for old man

I wish there was a way to accurately predict IRCC’s next line of action. If there’s anything we’ve learned so far, it’s that they are very unpredictable. We can keep speculating but that may not be the reality eventually. So to round up based on the info around the forum, IRCC is going to clear out the expired Outland COPRs simultaneously with remaining Inland/CEC applications, then wait for Border restrictions to be eased for "all foreign nationals"(potentially 7 sep but cases are rising) and then perhaps give PPRs/remeds to approved FSW-Os. So where are we on the Expired COPR & CEC application inventory? We should have an excel file on this to have some form of predictive analytics on this.
