I have a nothing-to-do-with-fsw-draws question.

Why so many indians in Canadian immigration Facebook groups, before they ask a question put "asking for a friend"?

Are they really asking for a friend? Or for some reason they don't want people to know they are asking for themselves?

I'm asking with respect, I really want to know.

90% of India is rural and does not have internet access so usually they rely on their friends to gather information.

I was curious too! I thought that they were afraid of envious folks who know them in real life. Or just avoiding clashes with their employers/seniors who might see these posts.

This might be the reason. When I was interviewing, one of the recruiters specifically asked me if I applied for Canada PR. Some people just quit after a few months when they got the visa.

Lol thats not true.. even rural areas have 4g now and rural people fb accounts.. its just that people r afraid somebody might negatively affect their application by complaining etc and they want it to be known once they have boarded the flight :p

On an unrelated note, can anybody please suggest me when should I order my second set of GCMS notes?
I ordered my first set of notes in June, and security was not started.
