Thank you for the answer. This, at least, confirms that some of CVO applications are being processes by CPC-Ottawa; which may cause longer time for response.

How did you send your medical results; by courier to CPC-Ottawa or handed them to a Canadian Embassy office operating in Cairo? I presume that decision on your application is going to be positive (i.e. approved in shaa Allah) since you are in the medical exam stage. I think if you have got any problem with the experience reference letter, you shouldn't get medical exam request.

regarding the medical check results, u won't have to send it
the American anglo hospital will send it
usually it appears on your ECAS status in 1-2 weeks as "Medical checks have been received"

I presume Cairo VO is currently not working (may be since last December). last Thursday and Friday (April 2 and 3, 2015), I've got 3 e-mails from CPC-Ottawa, asking for a PCC from Saudi Arabia, MR and RPRF.

Since I should have got such e-mails during last January, 2015; I do believe that Cairo Office is currently out of visa services and all files are transferred to CPC-Ottawa. Thus, I think all of case processing are to take longer duration.

God help me with Saudi Arabia PCC.

I called CIC few times and every time I get a different answer sometimes they say my file is in Cairo VO, and other times in CPC-O, or was in CPC-O and then got transferred to Cairo VO, I' am really confused...

are there any early May applicants from Egypt here that got MR?

i contacted CIC call center by phone on +18882422100 or you can call +16139444000 and they will redirect you to the first line after all
they need to validate you are the candidate by some information like UCI ,your full name, birthdate...

usually CIO Email you that your file was transferred, try to email CIO or call CIC(you will find the number in the previous post)

I just thought of saying hi, and updating you with the "nothing" that has happened. Yep, no updates on my application (May 8th applicant) still PER and no news from Cairo Visa Office. Maybe, I just wanted to find a sense of solidarity by talking to all of you waiting for relief May God bless us with patience and give us what is best for us in the most suitable moment .

To give you an update.
I called CIC on the number provided by Almohager with thanks, and I was informed after a long wait !!!! that my file is currently in Cairo Visa Office. The one who answered the call did not provide any further information about my application and status.

I got the feeling that officers in CIO have no any information about applications after they are being processed coz I was informed that my application is in Cairo only coz I told him it is supposed to be there.

They even went to tell me that there were some issues in Cairo visa office which have been resolved since more than 2 yrs. However, cairo visa office still shows "currently closed" !!!

I am really discouraged... Know what? I feel like we are such passengers who are stranded at some where and our intended destination is no longer communicating with us and there is no signal to connect us with them . Just a joke.

Would like to know your feelings as well
