NO MR YET :(

Application Recd. Date: 2nd-July
NOC: 0111
PER: 28-Oct
2nd Line Update: None.. awaiting :(
MR & RPRF Mail: None.. awaiting :(

All i know is that my file has been transferred to NDVO. In early Oct I sent an email to CIC NS Sydney asking for the status of my application. To which they replied in mid Dec14 saying "your file has been transferred to Delhi and CIC NS Sydney cannot make any more comments". Needless to say in between this wait period I had received PER.

What to do?

Hang in there Buddy .. You will get good news soon

FRIENDS!
LET'S NOT EXPECT PPR WITH IN JANUARY. IF IT IS RECEIVED TO YOU, YOU MAY THINK THAT IT WAS DECIDED ON DECEMBER.
NDVO IS NOT GOING MAKING ANY PPR DECISIONS IN JANUARY.

EXPECTING LOTS OF -1 :(

Hey Bro lovechitwan , no one knows and No one can predict working style of NDVO. :P :P :P

+1 to you ;) :)

You should check with your bank as most of the applicant of this date had been charged.

It is better to raise CSE to your visa office by sending all the details. Also as there is no 4th line about decision in your ECAS, there can be possibility that still the decesion had not been made.

I would advise not to contact them at this time.
In my case, I received MR+RPRF+PCC+PP request on Nov 7. I did my medicals on Nov 11 and the hospital uploaded "all good" eResults to SGVO on Nov 17. Then, I submitted my documents by Dec 04 and submitted my passports on Dec 24. However, I haven't even seen 3rd line " Medicals received" updated on ECAS as of today.

I have been told that VO is conducting background checks at this stage before final decision. I did not followup for my case simply because it may derail the entire processing. Remember, when we send a query they have to answer us but they may not have any significant update for us at that time. So better to let them focus on their job. CIC has internal thresholds set to process the applications within stipulated time frames. Lets leave it on them. At least for next 15 days or so.

Lets be patient here and keep fingers crossed, keep praying. We are close to the line and next step is going to take us over the line.

Pray my friend pray. That all we can do !!!!

Send CSE (case specific enquiry) for your visa office by mentioning all the details and copy of Generic application and PER.

COPR is sent along with the Passport.

If the applicant has chosen VFS as mode of Passport Transmission and selected courier services as dispatch method. Then they will receive Visa Stamped Passports and COPR will be sent through courier.

If the applicant has chosen VFS as mode of Passport Transmission and wishes to collect Passport himself from VFS Center. They will receive a notification that their Passport is ready for collection. They can visit the VFS Center and collect the Passports along with CoPR.

  • To collect passports for dependents. The person who is collecting the Passport from VFS Center should submit an authorization letter from the dependents authorizing them to collect the PP on their Behalf

If the applicant has sent the Passports through Normal Courier services. They will returned to applicants after Visa Stamping along with CoPR through Speed Post

Hope this helps

This is for NDVO

+1 for the info...

Dear sawtantar

I am June 18 applicant, October 17 PER with no MR and no 2nd Line.

But staying positive till the time we don't get any news would be a wise choice. Well just to share there are many late may and june people waiting for 2nd line and /or MR.

Stay positive and pray hard.... MR will land in your inbox very soon.

Wish you good luck for speedy MR. :D

+1 for maintaining positivity. Wish you folks good luck.

What You Should Know About the Ontario Employment Standards Act
The Employment Standards Act, 2000, known as the ESA, is a law that sets minimum standards for workplaces in Ontario. If you work in Ontario, you are probably protected by the ESA. It does not cover employees in federal jurisdiction and persons in a few other special categories. There are exceptions and special rules for some employees and not all employees qualify for all ESA rules.
Employers cannot intimidate, fire, suspend, or otherwise punish an employee, or threaten any of these actions because the employee asks for or asks about their ESA rights. If an employee thinks that an employer is not following the ESA law, he or she can contact the Ministry of Labour for help.
Your Rights and Responsibilities at Work:
  • Hours of Work--Generally, employees cannot be forced to work more than daily limit: 8 hours a day or the number of hours in a regular work day
  • Weekly Limit: 48 hours a week. Employees may work more than 48 hours in a week if requirements for obtaining their written agreement are met and the employer has an approval from the Director of Employment Standards.
  • 11 consecutive hours off work each day
  • 24 consecutive hours off work each week or 48 consecutive hours off work in every 2-week period.
  • Most employees must be paid overtime pay after 44 hours of work each week. The overtime rate must be at least 1½ times the regular rate of pay.
  • Most employees are entitled to be paid at least the minimum wage | Browse here for Minimum wage rates = http://www.labour.gov.on.ca/english/es/pubs/guide/minwage.php
  • Most employees earn at least 2 weeks of vacation time after every 12 months. Employees are entitled to be paid at least 4 per cent of their total wages earned as vacation pay.
  • 10 days each calendar year of personal emergency leave for personal illness, injury or medical emergency, or for the death, illness, injury, medical emergency of or urgent matter concerning certain family members
  • Ontario has 9 public holidays every year (New Year's Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, December 26). Most employees take these days off work, with public holiday pay.
  • 17 weeks of pregnancy leave
  • Generally, if an employee has been working for 3 months or more and his or her job is terminated, the employer must give the employee advance written notice, or termination pay instead of notice, or a combination of both.

Good info dude +1 :)
