Hi Seniors,
I have been asking my question since yesterday but no one replied yet despite of multiple posts.

I submitted my RPRF draft along with original passports to Singapore Visa Office, but no reply from them. It is one full month now, though in their RPRF & Passport request email they mentioned that it will take one month.

Usually I see that people on this forum got their passports back withing a couple of weeks time. So is there anything to worry about for delay in my case?

Would be really grateful if someone can answer.

There are different processing times for each visa office. It might be that the Singapore office works more slowly than other offices. please check this link. Be Positive!

Yes in very rare cases (like not getting 67 points or job duties not matching NOC etc) one gets NER mail .In such cases processing fee is nor refunded and file is also not returned.

It can be a negligence on the part of VO or may be some unknown reason.

But Since it has already exceeded the defined timeline, you should write to your VO through CSE and via email also to inquire about the status.

BGC = Background Checks

All visa offices do background checks usually via third parties. Mostly involves employment verification. May also include residential address verification, but rare.

IN ALL THE TALK OF PPR GOING ON IN THE FORUM, I WOULD LIKE TO DIGRESS A LITTLE BIT FROM THE TOPIC.

IM A MAY 7TH APPLICANT WAITING WITH SECOND LINE SINCE 120 DAYS NOW. ALL THE GCMS AND CSE HAVE NOT GIVEN ME ANY DESIRED ANSWER. ONLY THING I KNOW IS FOR THE PAST 120 DAYS A THIRD PARTY AGENCY IS DOING BGC ON ME , AND STILL IS NOT ABLE TO CLEAR MY NAME TO NDVO.

THIS SAD STORY IS FOR CLOSE TO 150 PEOPLE WHO USED TO BE ACTIVE ON THE FORUM, BUT NOW FEEL NO ENERGY TO CONTRIBUTE BECAUSE OF THIS SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS.

I REQUEST YOU TO PLEASE KEEP ALL OF US IN YOUR PRAYERS, AS YOU NEVER KNOW WHOSE PRAYER MIGHT WORK FOR US..

IM WRITING THIS LITERALLY IN TEARS AS I NEVER EXPECTED THIS MUCH HARD WAIT WHEN I APPLIED...
