hi to all,

I have a few questions:

1. Do I have to notarize original bank certificate used as POF?
2. Does what the Notary Public write in the photocopy to notarize document have to be in english or he can put it in spanish my native language?
3. When you guys say a notarized translated document, do you guys mean that in the document it has the affidavit of the translator where she certifies she has done a word for word translation and her signature and stamp or does it have to have something else?
4. My Notary is confused on what he has to do with the copies of my documents to notarize, what does a notarized document in original language look like or has to say.

could you please tell for the following based on your experience.

1. My applicatoin is received on June 04th and tillnow my DD is not encashed. Is it mean that till now my application is not opened by CIC.
2. If My applicaton is opened, is it rejected. if yes by this time it would reached me, But not.
3. Is my application is reached to right place. infact it is received by GLEN and observed in SS many applications are received by GLEN.

Please answer to my questions.

As per SS he got charged on 10/10/14, So there is possibility for you and me too if our documents is 100% correct... Let's hope for the best.

Hello Seniors,

I have already filed my application, but was having a doubt.

I have changed 3 jobs in past 10 years. I am in my current profile since past 5 years, and this is my prime occupation for NOC consideration. I have provided a reference letter with all the requirements stated in the checklist, for my current profile.

However, reference letters provided for my earlier jobs are not as per specifications of checklist and they only mention my profile name and period of employment.

I have been suggested by my consultant that since my current profile is the one I have highlighted for NOC, docs for my earlier profiles wont matter much.

Just wanted seniors' advice, if they agree with same. I know I am getting little "over cautious", but precaution is better than cure..

I have finally received my PER after 5 months of waiting . I think maybe I'm among the last ones from 12 may applicants

PER received 8 October 2014

SS is updated. When I get additional responses from VO I will update it again.

Guys, I need an advice regarding my Birth Certificate issue.

Some background: I'm a June 09 Applicant (NOC 2174). I got my PER last week (obviously, my CC has been charged)

So here's my Problem. My birth Certificate is in my native language (Telugu). I also have a notarized translation of my by birth certificate, but this wasn't translated by an official translator. Back in 2006 when I was doing my Masters, my International adviser had my friend translate and sign it, and he then had it notarized. I've used that notarized BC without any problems so far in the USA.

I sent them a copy of my Birth Certificate, and a Copy of the Notarized & translated birth certificate I have. I know, I was stupid to send a copy of the notarized BC, but I didn't know better at the time. What's done's done, I'm looking for a way to reduce the impact if possible.

Now that I realized that BC is a big deal, I went to the Indian Embassy and got myself a Birth Certificate Issued by them. I also have my Secondary School Certificate with my name, DOB and my father's name on it.

So my question is, what would be the best course of action be in my case? My visa office is Ottawa. Should I send them some supporting documentation quoting the UCI I got? Or should I just wait on the Visa Officer to say something?

I have question regarding RPRF fees. I was asked to pay RPRF fees. I paid online and printed the receipt. In the receipt i have to fill out the information and send it to citizenship and immigration cananda. Does it mean that i have to send by mail not email??

I have a tricky situation here. I have just noticed a goof up Sad Sad
My 1st reference letter says, my exp is from 2009-2013(conveying my duties) but by mistake in the first para its written something like this --- was employed at XYZ from 09-2009- to 03-2014. By mistake it is 2014 which should be 2013.
and then in 2nd reference letter again, 03-2014 till date where it should be 03-2013.
Now i m not getting what to do, i have sent my joining letter of 2nd organization where it says that i am in it since 03-2013.
I am really scared as to how it will be perceived. Kindly give suggestions what can be done. I am august applicant.
