Procedure to obtain UK PCC from USA.

Since no bank will give you a cashiers check or DD in pounds, you may approach your bank and ask them for wire transfer.

before doing that, contact ACRO UK customer care team and get details of the wire transfer. They will send an email to your personal ID with the details and you have to give in your details like, full name, address, how much amount etc...

After getting an email from ACRO UK , go to your bank with those details and ask them do a a wire transfer.

Once the transfer is done, you have to mentiona ref number given by ACRO UK in the email earlier, this ref No should be placed in your application payment format. There is a field for this.

Send your application as per their checklist.

I went for normal processing and one document. All this process was done in 2 weeks. I received my PCC from UK in 2 weeks under normal post and normal processing....

They are the BEST.

USA PCC was applied long back and CC was just charged

Heard nothing from CIC today.

I guess it's final that CIC is not working today as it was an optional holiday in NS.

On the Fees schedule page for India (NDVO), it is mentioned that

"* Please note that if you submit your application to a Canadian office (CPC or CIO), payment should be made at that office"

This is applicable for the table covering Permanent Residence Applications*, specifically
Right of Permanent Resident Fee (Principal Applicant, Spouse/ Partner) CAD 490 Rs. 26,700

But I believe we have to send the RPRF fees (by DD) to NDVO, and not to CIO.

hi to all,

I have a few questions:

1. Do I have to notarize original bank certificate used as POF? - Not required. This must already be having Bank's seal
2. Does what the Notary Public write in the photocopy to notarize document have to be in english or he can put it in spanish my native language? English would be better. Else, you would need to go for translation
3. When you guys say a notarized translated document, do you guys mean that in the document it has the affidavit of the translator where she certifies she has done a word for word translation and her signature and stamp or does it have to have something else? Get the document translated by a certified translator, word-for-word, in english and then get it notarized
4. My Notary is confused on what he has to do with the copies of my documents to notarize, what does a notarized document in original language look like or has to say. The "notarized document" would simply bear the seal of notary on the english translated document

CC was charged by FBI and not CIC. FBI is working today for sure
