Just worried a bit about the eye test. I have a medical condition called Amblyopia (commonly called as lazy eye)

Due to this, I have limited vision in one of my eye, even with spectacles I cannot read using this eye, whereas the other good eye is perfectly normally and does not have any spectacles. I know I have asked this before, but will this cause any issues with the Medicals?

Hello Royston, sorry to hear about the condition, however, I think it shouldn't be any problem as long as your eyesight is not completely deteriorating. I just googled and found out that it can be treated so why not "for your own self" get the treatment done, till your application keeps on proceeding till medical?

Thank your response. No, my eyesight isnt deteriorating and has been constant since childhood. i.e. limited vision in 1 eye, but twice the average vision in the other eye.
The treatment is successful mostly when treated at a young age. Basically the eye is good, but the brain needs to be trained to receive signals from the other weak eye. Have visited quite some eye docs and they say its too late to work on it, but at the same time they say, that if you loose your good eye at any stage, then the brain will automtically start taking inputs from the weak eye an it would improve.

Thanks for the reply I really appreciate, but the email seems like it comes from any cic official that's why I am very much confuse what to do here should I email him or not what do you say? I told my consultant the same that file number starts with letter E with a single alphabet but he is kept saying that you can not check the status until your file has been submitted, your file should be submitted after you provide me IELTS and police cert then you'll be able to check your status online I don't know what to do should I believe him or not.

I don't understand y London VO is taking so long to communicate with the applicants.. I'm may 8th applicant n I recieved my PER 2 months ago. .. since then there is no update or AOR from LonDon VO... IM following the forum n I know I'm not alone but just curious if there r any specific reason for the delay...

Hong Kong is the same, absolutely nothing has happened from HKVO.

Besides the fingerprint card, you need to include application and the mode of payment.

Payment Form ( if you are using CC, the CC holder should sign on the form)
Application Form ( Where you have provide the details of your personal history, and there you can find the Delivery address)
